Unleashing Wild Women and the Sacred Feminine to Transform the World

Dear Friends,
in these exciting and ever changing time of our our collective transformation into manifesting the Golden Age of Aquarius, we hear a lot about the incoming high energies of cosmic light, of the Venus retrograde phase and the coming Super Moon. But it is not only the heavenly forces, that are once again opening their doors for us. The divine law states: “As above – so below”. What that means is, when ever the gateways of heaven open to bless us with supportive energy frequencies, so does Planet Earth. Last week, the physical ground we are standing on has, for the fist time in human existence, reached the stable vibration of a 5th dimensional living being. Without the body there is no divinity in action, no imprint of the divine in this world, no space for expression of an individual divine soul path. So celebrate your physical vessel, celebrate the nature of being a human being (the awakening of the divine feminine is needed for both, men and women!!), celebrate the beauty of our planet and let it heal you back home to where it all began!!
Love and Blessings! Namaste!

We live during a time of awakening consciousness, a time in which we are exploring ways to bring the Sacred Feminine to a more central focus in our lives, in order to stop the wars, bring compassion to all, and nurture our Earth Mother who gives us everything we need.
In a time of great change such as we live in today, it is critical, perhaps even a life-or-death matter, to explore the idea of women connecting with their deepest inner knowing and powerful creative energy to find their passion and transform the world.

Women in Indigenous Cultures

In many indigenous cultures around the world, from the Australian Aboriginal peoples to the indigenous peoples of North and South America, woman are considered sacred because they maintain a close connection to nature; to birth, life, and death; to medicinal plants; and to spiritual knowledge.
In these ancient cultures, the Sacred Feminine is encouraged to shine forth alongside the Sacred Masculine. Both the feminine and the masculine aspects of humanity bring important wisdom and abilities to the community as a whole. The two types of energies combine within each individual to create a life-affirming balance.
Too often in modern society, the masculine qualities are valued over the feminine, creating an imbalance driven by insecurities and deep fear. When we open up to the Sacred Feminine in our lives, we restore that balance, we find confidence and integrity, and we develop the courage to move past our fears.

In The Sacred Hoop: Recovering the Feminine in American Indian Traditions, Paula Gunn Allen writes:

“Traditional tribal lifestyles are more often gynocratic than not, and they are never patriarchal … In tribal gynocratic systems a multitude of personality and character types can function positively within the social order because the systems are focused on social responsibility rather than privilege. They feature even distribution of goods among all members of the society on the grounds that First Mother enjoined cooperation and sharing on all her children. The welfare of the young is paramount, the complementary nature of all life forms is stressed, and the centrality of powerful women to social well-being is unquestioned.”

It is only natural then, that at this important time of re-evaluating humans’ impact on the planet over the past 500 years or so, that we should return to a consideration of allowing women to step forward with their nurturing, strong-willed, and wild natures ready to make great social change. It also makes sense that we would look to the Sacred Feminine found in so many indigenous cultures, whose wisdom can help us discover new ways to respect the Earth and to honor its abundance.

3A Wild Nature Buried Within

When a woman, or any person for that matter, is in touch with their deepest inner knowing, when they can hear their “soul-voice,” they feel a deep connection with the universe. They are able to follow their intuition without doubting and second-guessing themselves.
Too often in modern culture, our intuition is drowned out by to-do lists and schedules, money problems, and worries about what other people will think about us. The list of distractions goes on and on. The Wild Woman is able to let go of all of these small concerns in order to nourish what is most important for her soul: The pull of her heart toward what she really loves and what she is meant to do in the world.
Every person, in order to be whole and complete, needs to offer their truest self to the world. We all have something very special and unique to share. We need every single person on the Earth to feel free to share their gift, in order to accomplish the huge task of creating the just, sustainable world that we want to see.
We must each start within. We can begin by discovering and releasing what is wild within each of us, allowing it to open and blossom in our lives. Once we find the voice inside, the same voice that guided our indigenous ancestors to medicinal wisdom and spiritual knowledge, then we are in touch with the Sacred Feminine, the connection to birth, life, and death that guides each of us. When we allow this voice to become stronger, when we truly listen to it and acknowledge it, we will understand what our gift is and how to share it in the world.

In her book Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D. writes of the feminine nature:

“It’s not by accident that the pristine wilderness of our planet disappears as the understanding of our own inner wild nature fades. It is not so difficult to comprehend why old forests and old women are viewed as not very important resources. It is not such a mystery.”

What Happens When Women Open to their Deepest Wild Nature?

Estes says: “When women reassert their relationship with the wildish nature, they are gifted with a permanent and internal watcher, a knower, a visionary, an oracle, an inspiratrice, an intuitive, a maker, a creator, an inventor, and a listener who guide, suggest, and urge vibrant life in the inner and outer worlds. When women are close to this nature, the fact of that relationship glows through them. This wild teacher, wild mother, wild mentor supports their inner and outer lives, no matter what.

“So the word wild here is not used in its modern sense, meaning out of control, but in its original sense, which means to live a natural life.

“With [our true nature] as ally, as leader, model, teacher, we see, not through two eyes, but through the eyes of intuition which is many-eyed. When we assert intuition, we are therefore like the starry night: we gaze at the world through a thousand eyes.

“The wild woman carries the bundles for healing; she carries everything a woman needs to be and to know … As in all art, she resides in the guts, not in the head … She whispers from night dreams, she leaves behind on the terrain of a woman’s soul a coarse hair and muddy footprints … She is the voice which says, ‘This way, this way.” … She is from the future and from the beginning of time.”

32Who Is the Wild Woman Today?

The Wild Woman is one who is not afraid to reject society’s rules in order to make great change which she knows is important and necessary. Her intuition is clear and strong, and she uses it to guide her actions and strengthen her resolve. She is fiercely protective of her own children and grandchildren, her partner, her community, all sentient beings, and Mother Earth.

“No matter by which culture a woman is influenced, she understands the words wild and woman, intuitively. When women hear those words, an old, old memory is stirred and brought back to life … When we pick up her trail, it is typical of women to ride hard to catch up, to clear off the desk, clear off the relationship, clear out one’s mind, turn to a new page, insist on a break, break the rules, stop the world, for we are not going on without her any longer.”

In other words, Wild Women have rediscovered a connection with their heart and their deepest instincts, which may have been lost for years or decades. They will passionately reinvent their own lives and their world when they discover their wildish nature.
Many of the world’s great social change leaders, progressive thinkers, and tireless activists are Wild Women. Think of Julia Butterfly Hill, Rosa Parks, Margaret Fuller, Mother Theresa, and Waangari Maathai. These woman stepped outside of the normal boundaries of the society of their time, defying all odds and proceeding with what they believed in no matter what obstacles they faced.
As social movements rise during this time of expanding human consciousness, who will be the next Wild Women who will change history? Many of the newest generation of Wild Women are already beginning to ignite the world with new perspectives and an unyielding drive toward transformation. Are you one of them?

I caught the ‘capitalism-itis’ virus… and it changed my life

photo-1429637119272-20043840c013Dear Friends,
I love this article and how perfectly it fits into these days of changing perspectives for us as a human collective. We are still under the influence of the Venus retrograde
phase and that means a theme most vibrant in our awareness – is money. Under the pressure of, what numerology defines as an energetic year 8, our believes, pattern and values around power and abundance are coming up. That means also the meaning of money – as in this moment of time – money and power are to often a couple of abuse and manipulation.
Now we are deeply supported to step into our personal power and make reasonable, collectively and personally wise decisions. Maybe to read about the choices this author mad inspires you to find your own way of dealing with money – in your soul aligned way.
Anyway, by now there is a whole generation of Crystal Children on this planet incarnated, holding the vibration for a world without money exchange. So the question is not if this world is gonna come – the question is just how you experience the ride and how you are consciously a part of it’s creation!
Wish you strong clarity and authentic solutions when dealing with your money world!
Blessings Edith!!!

This blog was inspired by “The end of capitalism has begun”, an excerpt in The Guardian from Paul Mason’s new book “Post-Capitalism”. In this article, Paul Mason brilliantly packages what many of us in the ecovillage /regenerative living community have felt for a long time, that capitalism (at least as we know it today) is on it’s way out, and it’s going to happen sooner than we think.
Mason’s basic thesis is that the rise of information technology over the past 25 years has created three main forces towards what he dubs the “post-capitalist” society. First, it has reduced the need for humans to work; second, abundant and free information is dismantling the bedrock of scarcity that capitalism stands upon; and third, technology has created the means for non-market driven collaborative goods, services, and organizations to emerge.
This idea that we are on the edge of something new is something that many of my generation have felt acutely, especially in the somewhat “hippie” circles in which I travel.
Whereas our parents might think that a proper life path involves a stable job and a mortgage, most of my friends are abandoning high paying careers en masse to pursue travel, find jobs that are more meaningful for far less money, become organic farmers, or start ecovillages. To many of the scarcity mindset, making such decisions is seen as naive and irresponsible, but in this age of incredible overabundance (at least in developed countries) it seems to increasingly more people the much wiser path.

imagesRight out of college, I landed a well-paid job at a top agency in Los Angeles. The job and the lifestyle were quite cushy: a fridge always stocked with beer and wine, flexible hours, swimming pool, gym, raging company parties. Despite the fun environment and all the perks, I still felt like a cog in a machine, helping to sell more crap to people that really don’t need more crap. Because of capitalism’s dependence on exponential growth, and the environmental and social disasters that growth clearly continues to cause, the kind of bleak attitude I felt towards my work was virtually unavoidable when I stopped to think about what I was doing. Not only did my work not have any meaning to me personally, but the planet and humanity would actually be better off if I, and indeed most of us, did something else with our time.
The term Senior-itis is used to describe the decrease in motivation towards school often experienced by students who are about to graduate. What I was suffering from at my job, and what I think many of my generation are suffering from, is something I’ll call ‘Capitalism-itis’. ‘Capitalism-itis’ is a collective sense that the world as we know it is about to change, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense to invest ourselves in the status quo. We don’t know what’s next, but we know that it has to be substantially different from the world today if we are going to survive as a species. This feeling can cause us to be unmotivated and discouraged, even paralyzed.

imagesBut don’t worry, there are many good remedies for ‘Capitalism-itis’! It is possible to turn that melancholy into motivation once we realize that opportunities abound for ushering in what’s next and starting to form the new world. This is being made increasingly possible through the same forces that Mason suggests are undermining capitalism to begin with: the free sharing of information and creation of collaborative co-creative platforms via the internet.

Websites like thepoosh.org, simbi.com, ecobasa.org, movingworlds.org,tribewanted.com, and numundo.org are creating ways for people to trade skills, learn about regenerative living, and support worthy organizations and ecovillage projects through moneyless transactions.

Six years ago, when I did finally sell all my things and go travel, none of these options existed. Luckily, I serendipitously stumbled upon a developing ecovillage called InanItah in Nicaragua, where I discovered a passion for natural building and community living. I ended up staying for three years, playing a pivotal role in day-to-day operations through marketing, event organizing, administrative management and conflict mediation.
I made next to no money for doing those things, but I was the happiest I’d ever been. At InanItah I met many other people who had done similar things, who had also left seemingly great jobs to travel and live more simply. I started to feel like I wasn’t crazy, like the choices that I had made, though scary and difficult and entirely contrary to society’s definition of success, were perhaps good choices after all.

images (1)That is the same feeling that I got from reading “The end of capitalism has begun”, and how I often feel from reading Charles Eisenstein’s books or learning about things like Integral Theory– that how I feel and what drives me individually is a reflection of many external and collective forces that can makes sense when you take time to zoom out and put the pieces together. That if my plans for retirement don’t involve a comfortable pension, but rather, buying land in a place with clean water and growing my own food, that maybe on the macro level as well as the micro level that makes a lot of sense, and might even be the wisest thing I could do.

THE LION’S GATE HARMONIC ALIGNMENT 8:8:8

8th August 2015 is one of the most potent, high frequency days of this year, with amazing potential for positive change, both globally and personally. During this time our water planet aligns with the Sirian Star creating a portal that unites matter and antimatter.

Numerologically, 2015 is an 8 year (2+0+1+5 = 8.) The number 8 is associated with harmony, balance, abundance and power. When placed on its side, the 8 becomes the symbol for infinity ∞ and this is very apt as we are now stepping more into our role as co-creators of a New Earth with infinite creative possibilities.
The triple 8 infinity energy represents: As Above, So Below and Within! The balance of male and female, earth wisdom and spirit knowing, the connection of the heart and head.

images (3)All things, including numbers, have particular vibrational frequencies within the Universe. The number 8 is the most powerful number of the Goddess. In ancient Babylon eight was known as the number of Ishtar – Venus. It is a year where we take back our personal authority. Much of the lessons we continue to move through are about establishing boundaries and reclaiming our personal power.
The 8th August is the high point in what is known as the “Lion’s Gate”. This portal opens between 26th July and 12th August 2015 whilst the Sun is in the astrological sign of Leo the Lion.images (1)

During the 8:8:8, through the Lion’s Gate a wave of energy will be sent to our water planet. A beautiful wave of unconditional love requiring nothing of you but to enter into the Nothingness. Every being on the planet will experience the infusion of light and be offered a choice to consciously align with the original blueprint of the universe, Oneness.
Higher frequencies of light will be sent, heightening sensitivity and many will feel physical sensations. It is imperative to create a time of stillness. With Venus in Retrograde, take the time to visualize the Infinity sign.
It is a powerful time to pause and send prayers to our oceans and seas, connecting with the whales and dolphins, visualizing light being sent through the golden cosmic web.~

Choose Her Everyday (Or Leave Her)

Dear Friends,
this is a beautiful and heart felt article from a man who failed himself in love and mad his math – how not to repeat the pain. Written in honesty and clarity it gives a clear picture that both sides are suffering, when we can not really choose our partner. As since yesterday the star constellation Venus is retrograde, inviting us to clear our core values around everything we love and deeply desire in our life, I thought it a nice invitation to both sexes for a personal reality check. So close to the lion’s gate the energies are fiery, raw and deep!!
Hope for all of you – who desire so, to find the courage and manifest your most hidden, most internally screaming, most satisfying picture of new love relationships into this world!
AHO! And Blessings! Edith

I spent 5 years hurting a good woman by staying with her but never fully choosing her.
I did want to be with this one. I really wanted to choose her. She was an exquisite woman, brilliant and funny and sexy and sensual. She could make my whole body laugh with her quick, dark wit and short-circuit my brain with her exotic beauty. Waking up every morning with her snuggled in my arms was my happy place. I loved her wildly.
Unfortunately, as happens with many young couples, our ignorance of how to do love well quickly created stressful challenges in our relationship. Before long, once my early morning blissful reverie gave way to the strained, immature ways of our everyday life together, I would often wonder if there was another woman out there who was easier to love, and who could love me better.
As the months passed and that thought reverberated more and more through my head, I chose her less and less. Everyday, for five years, I chose her a little less.
I stayed with her. I just stopped choosing her. We both suffered.

Choosing her would have meant focusing everyday on the gifts she was bringing into my life that I could be grateful for: her laughter, beauty, sensuality, playfulness, companionship, and so … much … more.

Sadly, I often found it nearly impossible to embrace – or even see – what was so wildly wonderful about her.

Emotional SpiralI was too focused on the anger, insecurities, demands, and other aspects of her strong personality that grated on me. The more I focused on her worst, the more I saw of it, and the more I mirrored it back to her by offering my own worst behavior. Naturally, this only magnified the strain on our relationship … which still made me choose her even less.

Thus did our nasty death spiral play itself out over five years.
She fought hard to make me choose her. That’s a fool’s task. You can’t make someone choose you, even when they might love you.
To be fair, she didn’t fully choose me, either. The rage-fueled invective she often hurled at me was evidence enough of that.
I realize now, however, that she was often angry because she didn’t feel safe with me. She felt me not choosing her everyday, in my words and my actions, and she was afraid I would abandon her.
Actually, I did abandon her.
By not fully choosing her everyday for five years, by focusing on what bothered me rather than what I adored about her, I deserted her.
Like a precious fragrant flower I brought proudly into my home but then failed to water, I left her alone in countless ways to wither in the dry hot heat of our intimate relationship.
I’ll never not choose another woman I love again.
It’s torture for everyone.
If you’re in relationship, I invite you to ask yourself this question:
download
“Why am I choosing my partner today?”
If you can’t find a satisfying answer, dig deeper and find one. It could be as simple as noticing that in your deepest heart’s truth, “I just do.”
If you can’t find it today, ask yourself again tomorrow. We all have disconnected days.
But if too many days go by and you just can’t connect with why you’re choosing your partner, and your relationship is rife with stress, let them go. Create the opening for another human being to show up and see them with fresh eyes and a yearning heart that will enthusiastically choose them everyday.
Your loved one deserves to be enthusiastically chosen. Everyday.
You do, too.

Choose wisely.
