The Divine Feminine Speaks To The Soul Through Music

by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
many of you who are following my blog on regular basis are aware, that I love music and feel deeply blessed for having found a perfect outlet of personal creative expression for my human failures as much as my divine connection, in singing. Another layer of my life where my passion for vibration comes into the picture, is my love for evoking a healing process in people, by singing the right song to them.
That is why
I love this story so much (seen on the facebook page on Little Grandmother Kiesha), about the Himba tribe from Africa, and how they are using their ancestral wisdom of sound, not alone in the birthing process but also in the process of conceiving a child, and in the long years of guiding the human being throughout their life.

Of all the African tribes still alive today, the Himba tribe is one of the few that counts the birth date of the children not from the day they are born nor conceived but the day the mother decides to have the child.
When a Himba woman decides to have a child, she goes off and sits under a tree, by herself, and she listens until she can hear the song of the child who wants to come. And after she’s heard the song of this child, she comes back to the man who will be the child’s father, and teaches him the song. When they make love to physically conceive the child, they sing the song of the child as a way of inviting the child.

When she becomes pregnant, the mother teaches that child’s song to the midwives and the old women of the village, so that when the child is born, the old women and the people gather around him/her and sing the child’s song to welcome him/her. As the child grows up, the other villagers are taught the child’s song. If the child falls, or gets hurt, someone picks him/her up and sings to him/her his/her song. Or maybe when the child does something wonderful, or goes through the rites of puberty, then as a way of honoring this person, the people of the village sing his or her song.

In the Himba tribe there is one other occasion when the “child song” is sang to the Himba tribesperson. If a Himba tribesman or tribeswoman commits a crime or something that is against the Himba social norms, the villagers call him or her into the center of the village and the community forms a circle around him/her. Then they sing his/her birth song to him/her.

The Himba views correction not as a punishment, but as love and remembrance of identity. For when you recognize your own song, you have no desire or need to do anything that would hurt another. In marriage, the songs are sung, together. And finally, when the Himba tribesman/tribeswoman is lying in his/her bed, ready to die, all the villagers that know his or her song come and sing – for the last time that person’s song.

This is a very magical song from the album “songs for the inner child” by the artist Shaina Noll, in which she captured the same reminder to the soul of her child in western words and music. Maybe you enjoy playing it to your little ones as well :-)!

Shaina Noll – You can relax now
You can relax now
C’mon and open your eyes
Breathe deeply now
I am with you

Oh my sweet sweet child
Who do you think you are?
You are the child of God
And that will never change.

You had a dream, you misunderstood
You thought we were separate
But now you hear my voice and

You can relax now
C’mon and open your eyes
Breathe deeply now
I am with you

You are the love of my life
You are my one creation
You are eternity
And that will never change.

You had a dream, you misunderstood
You thought we were separate
But now you hear my voice and

You can relax now
C’mon and open your eyes
Breathe deeply now
I am with you

You are the love of my life
You are my one creation
You are eternity
And that will never change.

You can relax now
I am with you
You are the child of God
And that will never change.

You can relax now
You are the child of God
Dear ones, I hope you enjoyed the powerful story of the Himba tribe and their ancestral wisdom about sound and human connection. If you have children yourself, please don’t be shy to feel inspired and listen closely to their inner sound from now on. Its never too late to learn about the original soul song of your child!!
Love and Blessings!
Edith

Inspiration That Guides Us Thru The Sagittarius Full Moon Energies

1by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
in yesterday’s post about the current Sagittarius Full Moon energies we talked about the changes that naturally have to come, if we collectively want to arrive in the Golden Age of Aquarius. We heard about the fire sign’s character to move the human soul and set people in motion towards their higher goals, as it is representative of the spiritual warrior and truth seeker on planet earth. But not only is the Sagittarius Full Moon the spiritual purists best friend, it also makes us adventurous to actually explore this qualities in life, not only in our fantasies and dreams.
Since weeks now we have been guided to create a deeper and more harmonic new relationship with our physical bodies, so we can be connected more profoundly with the sensory abilities of the physical world, while walking in the awareness and expression of our personal divine blueprint for the Golden Age. This will be helpful now as the archer is on to spin the bow to the extremes.

Dear Ones, a personal message, New Beginnings will be closed from June 1st till September 4th! In this time I will be posting my articles rather sporadically, expecting to pick up the daily service after that period! If you resonate with my articles and are used to find my work  shared in a Facebook group, rather sign up on my newsletter here to make sure you get the information!!!

Below I gathered for you famous quotes that express perfectly the line we are collectively walking now, from the wandering spiritual warrior and seeker, thru the many adventures such a person has to experience to come to their powers, which gather in our physical bodies, and back home to where it all began. I hope you enjoy the read and feel the line of guidance unfold in yourself as well!!4nm“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”
Terry Pratchett

Michael Bassey Johnson

“Whatever you are physically…male or female, strong or weak, ill or healthy–all those things matter less than what your heart contains. If you have the soul of a warrior, you are a warrior. All those other things, they are the glass that contains the lamp, but you are the light inside.”
Cassandra Clare

“To be heroic is to be courageous enough to die for something; to be inspirational is to be crazy enough to live a little.”
Criss Jami

“Living a spiritual life may not be easy. It demands total authenticity. It brings you to dance to a unique song that only you can hear fully, and sometimes you dance alone because no others can hear the music.”
Debra Moffitt

“The Warrior of the Light is a believer. Because he believes in miracles, miracles begin to happen. Because he is sure that his thoughts can change his life, his life begins to change. Because he is certain that he will find love, love appears.”
Paulo Coelho

“Don’t settle down and sit in one place. Move around, be nomadic, make each day a new horizon. You are still going to live a long time, and it would be a shame if you did not take the opportunity to revolutionize your life and move into an entirely new realm of experience.
You are wrong if you think Joy emanates only or principally from human relationships. God has placed it all around us. It is in everything and anything we might experience. We just have to have the courage to turn against our habitual lifestyle and engage in unconventional living.”
Jon Krakauer

J.M. Barrie

“The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams.”
Oprah WinfreyaDear Ones, may you be blessed with lots of inspiration and a passionate inner fire for the incredible “adventure life in the Golden Age of Aquarius”, that is unfolding for us every day a little bit more. May your burning desires guide you well, and well directed, make you an active instrument of the collective awakening process movement. Keep using your inner alchemy, after all it is the Sagittarius energy that teaches us how to transform tin to gold in the violet fire of ascension!! I hope you feel the pushing power of the Moon energies and direct the forces well!
Love and Full Moon Blessings ;-)!
