Our Psychic Abilities Have Increased – Creating A Healing Friendship With Trees

onnenby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
just a month ago, when we passed the powerful Pisces New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse, we collectively had the chance to open our physical channels and develop a deep inner connection with the elemental forces of nature. Just about a week ago, I talked about the fact that our psychic abilities have collectively increased, and that brings strength to this inner relationships. One of the realms we can exchange with, is the Kindom of the weeds, flowers, bushes and trees that are surrounding us. A conscious interaction between the Nature Kingdom and the human race, is as old as human life itself! Our pagan ancestors worshiped trees. In many traditions in Europe, trees are admired for their magical, healing and grounding powers.

A personal message to all my facebook friends!! FB is limiting the distribution of my posts daily more. Over time I might not be able to put in the FB time, if it does not lead to what it is about – SPREADING THE WORD ;-)!

It is known, that Plato and Aristotle received their deepest insights in the olive groves around Athens. Buddha found enlightenment beneath a bo tree, and Isaac Newton received his “gravity theory” while watching an apple fall from the tree, under which he was sitting.
Scientific research confirmed that simple being in a green environment reduces the human stress level and blood pressure, has a positive effect on mental illnesses, on depression, helps with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), concentration problems, increases your reaction time – as well as deeply nurtures body and soul. The sounds, smells, sights, the texture and the taste of the air tickle our senses, which leads to improved health and well-being.
So tree Hugging is not only for Hippies to the contrary, “let’s make it a fashion trend”!! Hugging a tree can boost our health and the happiness we feel about being alive, so don’t be shy!!
In order to create a new relationship with trees, the first step is to make sure you feel worthy to be their co-creative partner. Shifting an Angry World into a Paradigm of Inner Peace & Authentic Action

kkby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
this years amazing frequencies for the collective awakening of humanity, are on a run. The effects have kicked in quite immediately the clock all over the was shifting to the 1.1.2016, and of we went with the wind of change into the new paradigm of peaceful living, harmonious community building and wise decision making when it comes to our future creations and co-creation partners. In my post about the collective cleansing of the first chakra, I mentioned that anger and frustration are two of the feelings that will more and more change for us. The intensity of how some of us have experienced the impact of this emotions, is daily fading more and a chance arises to transform our old behavior pattern to more fitting expressions for the Golden Age.
In general anger is a big one to transform, as or body supports with full force, the idea to move forward with this feeling. When we get angry, the amygdala of the brain (the part that deals with emotion) is going crazy. That makes our physical bodies reaction kick in and it wants to do something about the situation – IMMEDIATELY. Within a blink of an eye, the adrenal glands flood the body with stress hormones, such as adrenaline, noradrenaline, and cortisolour, the blood flow increases, feelings of excitement and anxiety arise and your muscles get activated.
Our Anger sets of the natural ‘fight or flight response’ of in the body, we gear up strength to survive a wrong that’s been perpetrated against you. The brain shoots blood into our muscles, in preparation for a physical confrontation. And most importantly – the mind is sharpened and focused within the second!!!! Most important, because this is the split second that also allows us to STEP BACK and evaluate the moment!!! According to well documented scientific research, the neurological response to anger actually lasts less than two seconds. This is why many people picked up on the idea of counting to 10 when angry!!!1aAnd lets be clear on one thing, I don’t think that anger is wrong – or a feeling we ‘should not have’, indeed anger is part of life within a physical body. The naturally build in physical cues of anger alert us, that something needs to be done as the situation we are in, is unhealthy, harmful or deforming for our true self. The thing is just, that we are now inspired to manifest the Golden Age of Aquarius, and the way how we choose to express our anger – is from now on, key to leading the collective of humanity into mass awakening; the level of increase we achieve in our collective ability for problem solving; and on a spiritual level that means, everybody is even more responsible now, to deal with what ever anger issues are left in their system, till this world is ready to live in balance, harmony and a state of world peace!!! Already ~Marcus Aurelius, The Roman Emperor (26 April 121 – 17 March 180 AD) shared a similar few of us human beings and this world, by understanding the whole Universe as a single living being:

“Never forget that the universe is a single living organism possessed of one substance and one soul, holding all things suspended in a single consciousness and creating all things with a single purpose that they might work together spinning and weaving and knotting whatever comes to pass.”

We are still supposed to stand up and tell our offenders that the behavior they showed is inappropriate, incorrect or injustice in our eyes, in some cases even more than ever (governments, our food industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the animal rights, human rights), and we are invited to a new paradigm of communication. A time of honest expression, from a place of openness and vulnerability, that truly allows us to engage with another (even in situations of deep disagreement!!) and actively supports the union in all our human relationships and communities.huge.9.45562Many of you, who read my blog on a regular basis, are Indigo Children, Crystal Children, Empathic People or Highly Sensitive People, that is one of the reasons why you feel attracted to my work. What all of this people have in common is that they are naturally taking in all the problems in the world, which than can create a strong sense of injustice, frustration, anger and even resignation in them, as this are all feelings we are inhaling from a human collective of 7 billion people. And some of us are even called to fulfill their soul path that way. To rise above the impact, in order to be part of the conscious awakening team ;-). There is nothing in the world that can not be forgiven! In history many have walked that path before us, marking the way we now are called to journey together.

“Yes, I was angry. And I was a little afraid. After all I’ve not been free in so long. But, when I felt that anger well up inside of me, I realized that if I hated them after I got outside that gate, then they would still have me! But I wanted to be free, so I let it go.” ~Nelson Mandela upon leaving prison after 27 years of confinement!!

Are you still sure the injustice done to you today is big enough, that you have THE RIGHT for a reaction of fiery anger, rage explosions or even treats / actions of physical violence? In case you hear an inner “YES” than it might be time to check your privileges in life and get on the peace train!! And for all of you who feel they are part of the peace movement already, CONGRATULATIONS… it will get a hell lot easier in the coming month.a2Dear Ones to close the circle, allow me to tell you that I am not sharing this tips and insides coming from an easy life and always been happy. I was angry!! Oh dear was I angry!! And in the last two days about twenty things happened, that some weeks ago would still have triggered something. But today in the morning, I just could not get angry anymore. I could feel this old me, still there in a corner of my body and somehow wanting to keep going the old way, and at the same time my body failed in it’s ‘fight or flight’ respond, so the fire did not go on. May this share bring you hope on your way to deeply peaceful manifestations, may you have others to play with and most of all, may you be free by heart!!!
Peace Hugs and Love!

Neuroscience Confirms Buddhist Belief – The Self Is Ever Changing

rtr4jv3cDear Friends,
I love science, I love it when ever science and spirituality overlap, I love when Shamanism and spiritual believe match, and I love this article. How ever far we are in understanding all the details of how the self is build, in a world made of endless little moments of Alchemy – it can not be, that the SELF is the only thing FIXED. Shamanic understanding is that we are shifting and changing, creating the SELF by the way how we choose to walk our path and carry our abilities – and neuroscience finally agrees with this approach. I hope you enjoy the read as much as I do, and I wish you courage, inspiration and lots of fun… with the creation of your SELF….    Love and Light
Edith

While you may not remember life as a toddler, you most likely believe that your selfhood then—your essential being—was intrinsically the same as it is today. Buddhists, though, suggest that this is just an illusion—a philosophy that’s increasingly supported by scientific research. “Buddhists argue that nothing is constant, everything changes through time, you have a constantly changing stream of consciousness,” Evan Thompson, a philosophy of mind professor at the University of British Columbia, tells Quartz.
“And from a neuroscience perspective, the brain and body is constantly in flux. There’s nothing that corresponds to the sense that there’s an unchanging self.” Neuroscience and Buddhism came to these ideas independently, but some scientific researchers have recently started to reference and draw on the Eastern religion in their work—and have come to accept theories that were first posited by Buddhist monks thousands of years ago. One neuroscience paper, published in Trends in Cognitive Sciences in July, links the Buddhist belief that our self is ever-changing to physical areas of the brain. There’s scientific evidence that “self-processing in the brain is not instantiated in a particular region or network, but rather extends to a broad range of fluctuating neural processes that do not appear to be self specific,” write the authors.Capture10Thompson, whose work includes studies of cognitive science, phenomenology and Buddhist philosophy, says this is not the only area where neuroscience and Buddhism converge. For example, some neuroscientists now believe that cognitive faculties are not fixed but can be trained through meditation. And there may be scientific backing to the Buddhist belief that consciousness extends into deep sleep. “The standard neuroscience view is that deep sleep is a blackout state where consciousness disappears,” Thompson says. “In Indian philosophy we see some theorists argue that there’s a subtle awareness that continues to be present in dreamless sleep, there’s just a lack of ability to consolidate that in a moment-to-moment way in memory.”
Studies of meditators’ sleep patterns suggest this might indeed be the case. A study published in 2013 found that meditation can affect electro-physical brain patterns during sleep, and the findings suggest there could be capacity to “process information and maintain some level of awareness, even during a state when usually these cognitive functions are greatly impaired,” according to the researchers. But neither neuroscience nor Buddhism has a definitive answer on exactly how consciousness relates to the brain. And the two fields diverge on certain aspects of the topic. Buddhists believe that there’s some form of consciousness that’s not dependent on the physical body, while neuroscientists (and Thompson), disagree.
But Thompson supports the Buddhists’ view that the self does in fact exists. “In neuroscience, you’ll often come across people who say the self is an illusion created by the brain. My view is that the brain and the body work together in the context of our physical environment to create a sense of self. And it’s misguided to say that just because it’s a construction, it’s an illusion.”

New Relationships Are Emerging – In Friendship With A Tree!!

jby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,

How to create long-lasting relationships – The scientific proof from the Gottman’s!!

aDear Soul Union Seeker, True-Lover and Hopeful!
Have you ever heard of John Gottman and his wife Julie?? Well in case not, he is a big relationship and sexuality guru who actually revolutionized our common understanding of the human body, the physical activity during the feminine orgasm (he proofed that it is a powerful force of nature, that unfolds in an internal process – extremely personal and collective at the same time “like every beautiful, divine paradox ;-)”) and the core values, that build lasting love partnerships.
The Gottman’s became famous in the 60es for a study on sexuality that enabled John Gottman to predict if newlyweds would make it as a couple, within spending less than an hour  with the two people. The American TV-Show hit “Masters of Sex – Love and Relationship” is based on this work. Totally enjoyable and recommendable show!! He currently released another study, that he developed with his wife, psychologist Julie Gottman. A study that might just have the answer to our many lifetime long quest of asking: WHAT MAKES LOVE LAST?

And despite of all our internal complexity, soul searching, psychological studies and romantic ideas, the answer is quite simple. All it takes is a truthful exchange of kindness and, what the Gottman’s called, “regular positive respond in our interactions”.
What that means is simple enough explained:
Let’s say you are at home in your living-room – your partner is present doing his tings. You are looking out of the window and see an amazingly beautiful sunset rising on the horizon. Filled with bliss, gratitude and good vibrations, you turn to your partner and say “have you seen this magnificent colors, the beauty is breath taking, nearly overwhelming!!” The Gottman’s called this a “bid”, which is a request for a response – in the hope of a small connection between the two of you. A connection that allows you to feel, that on this particular topic – you share the same worldview, values or perception.
But a bit is not only a request, but also an invitation for the partner – an invitation for another moment of shared intimacy. Your partner now has the choice, how to respond to this request for his time and attention.
Your partner can choose to look up and say “wow! You are right! This is amazing! Glad you pointed it out!” or what ever words of agreement, recognition, positive respond. The Gottman’s named this moment “turning toward” – indicating, that in such a moment the natural respond of the physical body is, to turn toward the object you respond too.a2Or, he can choose to stay engaged in what ever he is doing. Just mutter something, to let you know he heard that you where talking at all. Or worse of all, remain silent and unresponsive. That is something we internally experience as “turning away”.
Now that might not seam that important or significant, to destroy a true love relationship – but it indeed is? According to the results of the Gottman study, the consequences are spreading deep into the roots of our relationship foundation.
In fact it shows that:
Couples who got divorced within the time span of their six-year follow up, had “turn-toward bids” of 33 percent. The couples who were still together after six years had “turn-toward bids” of 87 percent. You don’t have to have studied the field to understand, that when your bids for connection rarely find responds, there comes a point where you stop trying.
The study explained it this way:
“People who give their partner the cold shoulder – deliberately ignoring the partner or responding minimally… not only kill the love in the relationship, but they also kill their partner’s ability to fight off viruses and cancers.” Contemplate that one!!
Clearly the most difficult situation to turn toward a bid, is when we experience stress, are in an argument or a heated discussion. AND especially in this moments of your relationship, it is most important to do exactly that. By developing the ability to hold space for your partner, you’re flexing your muscle of kindness – and kindness is the major predictor of a long-lasting relationship.

But, kindness is not the only ingredient in the pot. The second predictor of a long lasting love relation is the sharing of joy. In particular the  joy you feel over each others triumphs, accomplishments and gains. To feel happiness, support and even pride for the partners win’s in life, creates the space needed to keep being brave and courageous with our life-path decisions.
The Gottmans discoveries are based on over four decades of scientific research. The intent was not to look for evidence of different needs or behavior pattern between the sexes, but to get data about the nature of human beings in relationships.
Therefor the results are as relevant for the creation of long lasting love-relationships, as they are for your behavior with  family members, in friendships, work-relations and so on… They concern MAN and WOMAN EQUALLY!!
In essence our human existence on this beautiful planet is not possible without interaction with others… therefor, everything in our life is about relationship!!
a1So, pep up your behavior!! See if you can find it within you, to truly engage with your partner. Develop the clarity it takes, to truly be present in all your human interactions and don’t zoom out, like described in yesterdays post “Learn to feel your woman (or you will probably loose her)“.
And if it should be that you are one of the blessed souls, who came to reunite with a soul flame, a twin flame or longtime soul partner, know that every fiber of their being will be wired to “WANTING TO RESPOND” to you. When you meet people who belong to your soul tribe or soul family, you will experience a beautiful ping-pong game of BEING TOGETHER – where non of the players ever get tired of being engaged in interaction with the others.
I wish you awareness and devotion in the creation of our developing  New World relationships!!!
Blessings and Love
Edith

University of Texas just published their research into the long-term effects of marijuana

With a drug war against marijuana still raging in more countries than not, the question of how long-term marijuana use effects the human brain is a pivotal question in its legalization.  Although alcohol remains legal despite heaps of evidence to the dangers of long-term use, the fight to make marijuana available both with regard to its medical properties (especially in selectively killing cancer cells) and non-medical uses has frequently hinged on the various claims made about marijuana’s effects on the recreational user.

cannabis-brain

Luckily, the debate can finally move out from the realm of opinion into scientific evidence as researchers from the University of Texas just published their research into the long-term effects of marijuana use on the brain in PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences).
The researcher helped dispel the dying myth that marijuana use lowers IQ, and actually provides more evidence to marijuana’s potential role in fighting Alzheimer’s. The research revealed that earlier onset of regular marijuana use leads to greater structural and functional connectivity in the brain. The most significant increases in connectivity appear as an individual begins using marijuana, with results showing that the severity of use is directly correlated to greater connectivity.

marijuana-is-medicine-Power Of Raw CannabisAlthough these results will need to be confirmed with a larger sample (this was based on roughly 100 participants), the preliminary results do seem promising. More research will need to be done in order to see if these differences are caused by, or simply associated with, long term marijuana use. They also found reduced gray matter in the OFC (orbitofrontalcortex) in long-term users (which is a brain region associated with addiction). It is unclear whether this region is simply smaller in regular users (explaining their regular use) or if the use actually contributed to structural brain changes. These results will also need to be contrasted with other researcher showing that cannabinoids actually promote brain cell growth (neurogensis) even in adults.

Listen to Your Intuition, Whispers From the Soul

open-arms-grass“I believe in intuitions and inspirations…I sometimes feel that I am right. I do not know that I am.” – Albert Einstein
Have you experienced a moment when you felt something wasn’t right or was absolutely perfect? Like walking into a house for rent or sale, and you instantly know it’s the right place to live. Or you take up a job or a task and know whether it would work out or not. Its that inner voice telling you the solution to problems and decision-making without the use of rational processes and logical reasoning.
It’s your intuition that just knows. Researchers describe intuition as “rapid intellect” or “condensed reasoning” which is present in each and every living being. The word “intuition” comes from the Latin word intueri, which means knowledge from within. Intuition is the connecting path between the subconscious and conscious mind. Your subconscious mind, applicably, converses with the conscious mind all the time.
intuitionThis phenomenon of the inner world is popularly known as “gut feeling”. Having a gut feeling is as natural as feeling sad, happy or angry. “Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” ― C.G. Jung In spite of the knowledge of the power of intuition, we are swayed into believing and developing a logical rationale. In the past, science has always out ruled the power of intuition over logic and its only now that several scientific research has proved that intuition is not a magical occurrence but a well-coordinated process between the brain and the heart.
Listen to your Intuition When you feel contraction of energy inside your system at the thought of something, it’s your intuition giving you a warning signal. Similarly, when you experience an expansion of energy, it’s your intuition bouncing positive feelings. However, in this chaotic world of information, it has become quite difficult to listen and tap into the inner signals.
understanding-intuitionAs one cannot get away with blaming the world alone, one can also be responsible for creating communication blockages within one self. If you are clouded with ego, pre-conceived theories and excessive random stream of thoughts, you might have trouble listening to your inner wisdom. But every problem is a blessing in disguise as it motivates you to seek a new path. Here the idea is to understand how to maintain a smooth communication channel with your intuition. A clearer understanding of the following can help you carve out a way to connect to your inner voice.
1) De-clutter your mind and its garbage If you can think for yourself, you need not take anyone’s unsolicited advice seriously. Rather introspect and use your gut feelings to reach to a conclusion. Harbingers of self-destruction for e.g. ego, jealously, revenge hazes your ability to listen to your inner voice. The aim is to get rid of the negativity to re-boot your self.
2) Meditate There are several forms of meditation that helps one in achieving a balanced and quiet mind. Indulging in few minutes of meditation everyday will help you in getting in touch with your intuitive mind.
3) Spend time in Nature Nature heals. Go for a walk in the woods. Feel the grass and acknowledge the beauty around you. Let the breeze gush through your soul. Breathe and let the soul dance. Discover the joy of being with the self.
4) Listen to sharpen your intuition Listen to experiences of near and dear ones compassionately. You never know, they secretly might know your troubles and help you out in getting away with them. They can help you in knowing your heart.
images (2)5) Try Affirmations Affirmations can help you to purify your thoughts and help you develop a more positive perception of yourself. Writing simple affirmations daily like “I am listening to my intuition,” “I am in touch with my source of energy,” will instill positive feelings and thoughts in your subconscious mind.
6) Be Compassionate towards your body No one can get away with abusing his or her body. Don’t over exert yourself and most importantly, take care of it.
7) Let go Learn to let go and surrender to the need to control. Nothing is worth clinging to, as that will eventually disconnect you from your inner voice.
8) Practice Learn to listen to your intuition and inculcate the habit of following the message it has to give. The more you listen, the stronger it gets. Start off by asking yourself simple questions, like try to guess who is calling you before answering the phone, whether it will rain or not and so on. The more you practice, the better you get at recognizing the whispers from your soul.
9) Emphasis the positive Positive people have been reported to have stronger sense of intuition. So stay positive and smile!
10) Understand Selflessness A person who feels abundance is rewarded in abundance by the universe. Never give a second thought to an act of kindness. Selflessness makes one fall in love with the self. Once you discover the joy of this beauty, the body is filled with positive energy.
