These are the 5 Biggest Regrets People Have On Their Deathbed

deathbedThere are a lot of things in life that are as individual as the 7 billion people on the planet. There are tons of soul relate experiences and personal human choices, that make the abundant human expression so colorful. And, there are some things that people, who chose to live society conform, have in common. When asked at their deathbed, at the heights of emotions – released by facing their mortality, what their biggest regrets are, these are the five most common answers:

1.) I wish I had been true to myself.
There are “laws of humanity”, represented by the Native American population of the planet. These laws are translations of the “Hermetic laws”, the natural ways of the universal forces. One of them states: Human kind needs to live in “AUTHENTICITY AND HONESTY IN THOUGHT, WORD AND ACTION”, in order to manifest the “Golden Age of Aquarius” or “Golden Age of Humanity”. In society we are asked to be conform with the collective need and simple fit in. The healthier path is, to be true to yourself!! To listen very well to your inner voice of purity, Only if we honor ourselves, our needs and abilities, can we live the life we desire to manifest. We live in a RESPONSIVE UNIVERSE!

2.) I wish I hadn’t worked so much.
Make sure you are challenging yourself to grow from inside! Develop a natural hunger for the transformational nature of your true self! If you have a feeling for natural growth that emerges from inside, it is easier to replace societies unhealthy habit of working to much. Don’t allow yourself to be entangled in the over productivity the outside demands! Rather seek to release their pressure and weight from your shoulders. Everything in life needs balance!!! Playfully produce and rest in equal amounts of time and, LOVE what you do with all your heart!!!
descarga
3.)I wish I had been brave in the face of my fears.
To often we allow our emotional pain body, the inner child or simple another timeline, to take over  and demand the outcome of a situation. Fear is best concord by PRESENCE! Be present when fear strikes! One way to do that is, to make yourself familiar with the transformational power of death. Don’t get me wrong, I am not talking about your precious physical body :-)! To study the nature of death will enable you to develop courage. This courage helps you to face your fears. Transformation and a sense of true freedom is a natural result.

4.) I wish I hadn’t neglected my friendships.
Human life circles a lot around how we experience our relationships. From the moment we appear as “the one” on Mother Earth, till the moment we die – our growth as human beings is deeply connected to the once we are in relation with. We have the capacity to create this relationships with other human beings but  also Healing Crystals, nature, animals, Ascended Masters, Angels and more. In all this diversity, it feels good to find some comfort and stability in long term friendships. Staying in relation challenges the human being to grow in forgiveness, compassion and expands our budget to give.

Tip: Make space in your busy calender to have time for friendships! Reserve a special time, on a particular weekday for interaction with your friends, and make sure you meet somebody you like, trust and enjoy hanging out with.

descarga (1)5.) I wish that I had allowed myself to be happier.
Decide from today on, to make conscious steps every day to increase the happiness level in your everyday life. Make time for meditation, for nature, for a walk on the beach or a run in the woods with your dog. Make sure you are laughing at least once the day!! If you are an Empath, spend enough time with children and animals. Their innocent and pure approach to life fills up the “happy account”! Spoil yourself with the conscious goal to listen to the desires of your soul to feel blissful, happy and free.

LAW OF MOTHER EARTH THE RIGHTS OF OUR PLANET A VISION FROM BOLIVIA

Who has a right to life?  Only one species?  Do humans have the right to exterminate any species they want to kill?Today, we are living in the age of the greatest wave of extinctions since the Permian extinction 250 million years ago.
There are those who call this “progress”.  There are others, however, that have a different vision.
Around the world many people are coming to see the present world system as a form of suicidal madness.
In Bolivia there is a government that has a creative vision of life, a vision that goes back to original views of life from ancient times.
Evo Morales, the President of Bolivia, is a controversial person.  We don’t agree with all he says.
However we believe that his vision of the value of life, all life, has merit.
We believe that we cannot survive on this planet if we fail to see that human life cannot exist outside of nature.
This Bolivian law is a creative vision to put into law a system that preserves the biological foundations of life.
We don’t endorse all aspects of this law but we do see it as a revolutionary step forward in terms of global thinking

downloadLAW OF THE RIGHTS OF MOTHER EARTH

CHAPTER I
OBJECT AND PRINCIPLES
Article 1. (SCOPE). This Act is intended to recognize the rights of Mother Earth, and the obligations and duties of the Multinational State and society to ensure respect for these rights.
Article 2. (PRINCIPLES). The binding principles that govern this law are:
1. Harmony. Human activities, within the framework of plurality and diversity, should achieve a dynamic balance with the cycles and processes inherent in Mother Earth.
2. Collective good. The interests of society, within the framework of the rights of Mother Earth, prevail in all human activities and any acquired right.
3. Guarantee of the regeneration of Mother Earth. The state, at its various levels, and society, in harmony with the common interest, must ensure the necessary conditions in order that the diverse living systems of Mother Earth may absorb damage, adapt to shocks, and regenerate without significantly altering their structural and functional characteristics, recognizing that living systems are limited in their ability to regenerate, and that humans are limited in their ability to undo their actions.
4. Respect and defend the rights of Mother Earth. The State and any individual or collective person must respect, protect and guarantee the rights of Mother Earth for the well-being of current and future generations.
5. No commercialism. Neither living systems nor processes that sustain them may be commercialized, nor serve anyone’s private property.
6. Multiculturalism. The exercise of the rights of Mother Earth requires the recognition, recovery, respect, protection, and dialogue of the diversity of feelings, values, knowledge, skills, practices, skills, transcendence, transformation, science,
technology and standards, of all the cultures of the world who seek to live in harmony with nature.

imageCHAPTER II
MOTHER EARTH, DEFINITION AND CHARACTER
Article 3. (Mother Earth). Mother Earth is a dynamic living system comprising an indivisible community of all living systems and living organisms, interrelated, interdependent and complementary, which share a common destiny.
Mother Earth is considered sacred, from the worldviews of nations and peasant indigenous peoples.
Article 4. (LIVING SYSTEMS). Living systems are complex and dynamic communities of plants, animals, microorganisms and other beings and their environment, where human communities and the rest of nature interact as a functional unit under the influence of climatic, physiographic, and geological  factors, as well as production practices, Bolivian cultural diversity, and the worldviews of nations,  original indigenous peoples, and intercultural and Afro-Bolivian communities.
Article 5. (LEGAL STATUS OF MOTHER EARTH). For the purpose of protecting and enforcing its rights, Mother Earth takes on the character of collective public interest. Mother Earth and all its components, including human communities, are entitled to all the inherent rights recognized in this Law. The exercise of the rights of Mother Earth will take into account the specificities and particularities of its various components. The rights under this Act shall not limit the existence of other rights of Mother Earth.
Article 6. (EXERCISE OF THE RIGHTS OF THE MOTHER EARTH). All Bolivians, to join the community of beings comprising Mother Earth, exercise rights under this Act, in a way that is consistent with their individual and collective rights. The exercise of individual rights is limited by the exercise of collective rights in the living systems of Mother Earth. Any conflict of rights must be resolved in ways that do not irreversibly affect the functionality of living systems.download (1)CHAPTER III
RIGHTS OF MOTHER EARTH
Article 7. (RIGHTS OF MOTHER EARTH)
I. Mother Earth has the following rights:
1. To life: The right to maintain the integrity of living systems and natural processes that sustain them, and capacities and conditions for regeneration.
2. To the diversity of life: It is the right to preservation of differentiation and variety of beings that make up Mother Earth, without being genetically altered or structurally modified in an artificial way, so that their existence, functioning or future potential would be threatened.
3. To water: The right to preserve the functionality of the water cycle, its existence in the quantity and quality needed to sustain living systems, and its protection from pollution for the reproduction of the life of Mother Earth and all its components.
4. To clean air: The right to preserve the quality and composition of air for sustaining living systems and its protection from pollution, for the reproduction of the life of Mother Earth and all its components.
5. To equilibrium: The right to maintenance or restoration of the interrelationship, interdependence, complementarity and functionality of the components of Mother Earth in a balanced way for the continuation of their cycles and reproduction of their vital processes.

Talking to Animals : The Animal Communicator Documentary Film

I love this article! I live with 4 dogs and we are indeed talking a lot by telepathic communication. They know everything that goes on in my mind. When we walk, in the early morning hours, they tell me clearly where they want to go; who they want to visit and what type of games they want to play. We also exchange opinions on peoples energies and trustworthiness. I love that we have this relationship. That we feel free and comfortable enough with each other, to allow our minds to be open and receptive.
Enjoy lovely people!!!

Blessings Edith

Have you ever experienced communicating with Animals or Birds … without having said a word or uttered a sound ? Telepathic communication with other intelligent entities is something we humans too are capable of doing, if only we can get past our limiting, fear based thoughts and perceptions of the external world …
Anna Breytenbach is one such person who has dedicated her life to what she calls inter-species communication. She sends detailed messages to animals through pictures and thoughts. She then receives messages of remarkable clarity back from the animals.

Anna can feel the scars hidden under a monkeys fur, she can understand the detailed story that is causing a birds trauma, she transforms a deadly snarling leopard into a relaxed content cat – the whole animal kingdom comes alive in a way never seen before – wild birds land on her shoulders, fish gather around her when she swims, and wild unfamiliar baboons lie on her body as if she is one of their own.

Here is another working link, in case the ones above don’t work …

The 9 Veils Placed On Every Human Soul

telepathy.jpeg.pagespeed.ce.5PHqC3p5ENby A. True Ott, PhD
Nearly a decade ago, a dear friend and colleague of mine named Don Harkins authored a wonderfully thought-provoking piece entitled “Slavery and the Eight Veils”. Prior to Harkins’ untimely death, we discussed this “Eight-veils theory” for literally hours together – and in the end, Don asked me to write a piece about this for his newspaper, “The Idaho Observer.”  He did this, because I had shared much of my research with Don, and we together came to the conclusion that in reality, there were actually NINE veils placed on the human soul (i.e. intelligence), and that spiritual progression and thus a full knowledge of TRUTH would require the piercing of these Nine Veils.
I joked with Don that this topic would take an entire edition of The Idaho Observer, and then it would only scratch the surface.  That was one of Don’s editorial talents – taking a complex story and compressing it to a more readable format.   In memory of Don Harkins, here is the writing we discussed, in as compressed a format as possible.

WHY NINE VEILS INSTEAD OF EIGHT
Any dedicated seeker of truth eventually stumbles upon the incredible symmetry and structure of mathematics, which is especially true in fractal geometry involving the integers 1-9.  For a most basic example, just take a look at these nine equations:

(1 x 8) + 1= 9
(12 x 8) + 2 = 98
(123 x 8) + 3 = 987
(1234 x 8) + 4 = 9876
(12345 x 8) + 5 = 98765
(123456 x 8) + 6 = 987654
(1234567 x 8) + 7 = 9876543
(12345678 x 8) + 8 = 98765432
(123456789 x 8) + 9 = 987654321
download (4)Amazing, isn’t it?  I find it very interesting, furthermore, that all of the great philosophers in history such as Archimedes, Copernicus, Socrates, and DaVinci all were mathematicians first and foremost.   I submit that everything from biblical prophecy to DNA strands are built and based on quite simple mathematical formulas and patterns – but I am getting ahead of the story, for understanding the role of mathematics is in itself one of the nine hidden veils.
Consider also the so-called “mystery schools” of antiquity.  In shadowy temples in Sumer and Babylon – the Kabbalah showed the way to the ultimate “Holy of Holies” – the re-veil-a-tions (revelation, i.e. the parting of the veils) of life, the creation, of God and when embraced in honor and truth, the very Origins of Man.  This involved systematically piercing and embracing 9 levels of understanding or “Truth Plateaus” before finally entering “Nirvana” (or the ultimate unity with God) as depicted in modern “tracing boards”.

download (5)Like a giant Sudoku Puzzle board, the human experience we call life truly revolves around the numbers 1 – 9 in so many remarkable ways.  Everything has a place in the system, and everything fits neatly and precisely in the eternal grid of time and space.  This then, is but one definition of Truth – hidden, arcane knowledge that fits completely in the mathematical grid called logic.  Yeshua (aka Jesus of Nazareth) declared this to His disciples: “Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free.”

WHY CAN’T PEOPLE SEE THE TRUTH?
This question is best answered by Don Harkins’ wise words written in 2001:

“Over the last several years I have evolved and discarded several theories in an attempt to explain why it is that most people cannot see truth — even when it smacks them in the face. Those of us who can see “the conspiracy” have participated in countless conversations amongst ourselves that address the frustration of most peoples´ inability to comprehend the extremely well-documented arguments which we use to describe the process of our collective enslavement and exploitation. The most common explanation to be arrived at is that most people just “don´t want to see” what is really going on.
Extremely evil men and women who make up the world´s power-elite have cleverly cultivated a virtual pasture so grass green that few people seldom, if ever, bother to look up from where they are grazing long enough to notice the brightly colored tags stapled to their ears.
The same people who cannot see their enslavement for the pasture grass have a tendency to view as insane “conspiracy theorists” those of us who can see the past the farm and into the parlor of his feudal lordship´s castle. Finally, I understand why.

It´s not that those who don´t see that their freedom is vanishing under the leadership of the power-elite “don´t want to see it” — they simply can´t see what is happening to them because of the unpierced veils that block their view.

All human endeavors are a filtration process. Sports are one of the best examples. We play specific sports until we get kicked off the playground. The pro athletes we pay big bucks to watch just never got kicked off the playground. Where millions of kids play little league each spring, they are filtered out until there are about 50 guys who go to the World Series in October.

Behind the first veil: There are over 7 billion people on the planet. Most of them live and die without having seriously contemplated anything other than what it takes to keep their lives together. Ninety percent of all humanity will live and die without having pierced the first veil.”

Indeed it can be said that less than 1% of the world’s 7 billion humans ever pierce all nine veils, and it would appear that even this small minority is ever-shrinking.  In order to keep the “virtual pasture” green, the global elite also successfully bribe many who have pierced multiple veils, in order to misdirect others who may be approaching truth in many areas.  I call this simply intellectual prostitution – selling the birthright of Universal Truth for a worthless mess of pottage.  The gilded glitz of wealth, fame and social elevation have seduced many a gifted intellectual.

With full credit given to Don Harkins, here now are the newly updated “Nine Veils”. in5d in 5d

With full credit given to Don Harkins, here now are the newly updated “Nine Veils”.

The first veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the first veil and find the world of politics. We will vote, become active and develop an opinion. Our opinions will be shaped by the physical world around us; we will have been “conditioned” from our days in public education to accept that government officials, network media personalities and other “experts” are the primary voices of authority. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the third veil.

The second veil: Ten percent of us will also pierce the second veil to explore the world of history, the relationship between man and government and the meaning of self-government through constitutional and common law. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the third veil.

The third veil: Ten percent of those who pierce the second veil, will eventually pierce the third veil to conclusively find that the resources of the world, including people, are controlled by extremely wealthy and powerful families whose incorporated old world assets have, with modern extortion strategies, become the foundation upon which the entire world´s economy is currently indebted. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the fourth veil.

download (6)The fourth veil: Ten percent will then pierce the fourth veil to discover the Illuminati,Freemasonry, and the other secret societies. These societies use symbols and perform ceremonies that perpetuate the generational transfers of arcane knowledge that is used to keep the ordinary people in political, economic and spiritual bondage to the oldest bloodlines on earth. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the fifth veil.

The fifth veil: Ten percent will progress to pierce the fifth veil to learn that the secret societies are so far advanced technologically that time travel and interstellar communications have no boundaries and controlling the very thoughts and even the very actions of people is what their members do as offhandedly as we tell our children when they must go to bed.  As in the days of Noah, this technology is even creating synthetic life forms, as man seeks to displace God.  Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the sixth veil.

The sixth veil: Ten percent will progress to pierce the sixth veil where we learn the dragons and lizards and aliens we thought were the fictional monsters of childhood literature are real indeed and are in reality the actual controlling forces behind the secret societies uncovered in the fourth veil. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without piercing the seventh veil.

The seventh veil: Ten Percent will progress to pierce the 7th veil where the incredible world of ractal geometry and the universal law of numbers will be fully understood and embraced.  The creative force of the entire universe will be shown to be linked to numerical code formulas and sequences, and all “mysteries” including the very fabric of time, space, parallel universes, and access therein is unlocked.  Those whose intellects allow them to pierce the seventh veil often succumb to the lure and promise of massive wealth offered by the ruling elite, and thus over ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without piercing the eighth veil.

images (7)The eighth veil: Piercing the eighth veil reveals God and the pure energy known as LOVE that is the pure life force in all living things – which are one and the same.  Deep-seated Humility is needed in order to ever pierce this veil.

The ninth veil: Piercing the ninth veil means perfecting the pure energy known as love and thereby becoming truly one with God and His/Her formulations.  By perfecting this pure energy, one then fully embraces charity and therein gains full understanding of the universal plan of sacrifice, death, and redemption; life itself then becomes complete and one truly comes full circle and looks at the world through the eyes of an innocent child, yet with the deepest wisdom born of pure LOVE from the eighth veil.

Consider this: If this theory is correct, there are only about 60,000 people on the planet who have successfully pierced the sixth veil. The irony here is too incredible: Those who are stuck behind veils one through five have little choice but to view the people who have pierced the veils beyond them as dangerously insane. With each veil pierced, exponentially shrinking numbers of increasingly enlightened people are deemed insane by exponentially increasing masses of decreasingly enlightened people.

Adding to the irony, the harder a “sixth or better veiler” tries to explain what he is able to see to those who can’t, the more insane he appears to them.  This truth is self-evident.  Moreover, institutions such as the venerable “Southern Poverty Law Center” are formed and financed by the ruling elite to effectively label many such awakened individuals “hate-mongers” and “terrorists”.

download (1)OUR ENEMY, THE STATE
Behind the first two veils we find the great majority of people on the planet. They are tools of the state: Second veilers are the gullible voters whose ignorance justify the actions of politicians who send untold millions of first veilers off to die in foreign lands as cannon fodder — their combined stations in life are simply to believe that the self-serving machinations of the power-elite are matters of national security and are worth dying for.
Third, fourth, fifth and sixth veilers are of increasing liability to the state because of their decreasing ability to be used as tools to consolidate power and wealth of the many into the hands of the power-elite few. It is common also, for these people to sacrifice more of their relationships with friends and family, their professional careers and personal freedom with each veil they pierce.
Albert Jay Nock (1870-1945), author of “Our Enemy, The State” (1935), explained what happens to those who find and embrace the final two veils: “What was the best that the state could find to do with an actual Socrates and an actual Jesus when it had them? Merely to poison one and crucify the other, for no reason but that they were too intolerably embarrassing to be allowed to live any longer.”
Conclusions
As Don Harkins has written: “And so now we know that it´s not that our countrymen are so committed to their lives that, “they don´t want to see” the mechanisms of their enslavement and exploitation. They simply “can´t see” it as surely as I cannot see what´s on the other side of a closed curtain.”
The purpose of this essay is threefold:
1. To help the handful of people in the latter veils to understand why the masses have little choice but to interpret their clarity as insanity;
2. To help people behind the first two veils understand that living, breathing and thinking are just the beginning and;
3. Show people that the greatest adventure of our life is behind the next veil because that is just one less veil between ourselves and God A.K.A. ‘The Highest Vibration”

Putting mindfulness in the curriculum

1416129208576

Wow, I can’t believe how much fear people express about teaching their children a little bit of mindful awareness. It sounds like, who believes in organized religion, feels threatened by people who choose to think for themselves.  Personally I think, it would be a blessing for everyone if children get attuned to hearing their inner voice as early as possible in life. Let your children breath!!!
Blessings Edith

TREE HUGGERS: Jack Barlow and Lucy Srzich ‘breathing’ with a plant to help calm themselves.
Lucy says a ‘‘lot of people were giggling’’ when they first tried mindfulness.

Jack Barlow wonders if “neophyte” is in the classroom dictionary (it isn’t). He queries if Charles next to him knows there are more than 120 meanings for “set” (he doesn’t).
It’s thoughts like these that “race” through young Jack’s busy mind. But the 11-year-old is doing his best to concentrate as one of 20 students staring intently at a man, perched like a grasshopper, brandishing a golden stick and bowl in a classroom at Westmere Primary school in central Auckland. Legs crossed, arms folded – out of habit, not instruction – they wait for him to stir the stick. A ringing echoes; everyone inhales.

It’s not easy. Sitting completely still never is at that age. Morning tea is 20 minutes away. Yet students must concentrate on their arms, legs and “deep belly breathing.”

1416129208576 (1)“When your mind wanders,” drones instructor Grant Rix, “gently say ‘wandering’.” Then: “notice the sensations in your feet.”

Westmere Primary School has been part of the Mental Health Foundation’s (MHF) Mindfulness in Schools programme for two years. The trials, lasting eight weeks, included five other schools, four from Auckland and one in rural Southland, and the early results are promising.
Teachers kept journal entries on the progress of the 20-minute lessons and a survey three months later assessed the potential long-term impact, with researchers from Auckland University and the Auckland University of Technology studying the results.
“We found it improved students’ self-control, attentiveness, respect for other classmates and enhanced the school’s mood,” says Rix. It was beneficial for teachers too – many reported reduced stress in their personal lives.

descargaRix – the man with the golden stick and bowl – works for the MHF and has been practising mindfulness for 15 years. He developed mindfulness in schools after seeing similar trials overseas.
And the benefits were plentiful, according to Teck Wee, a teacher at another participating primary school, Te Papapa, who reported gradual change in students as the programme continued: “They were thinking more about how their own behaviour affected situations, rather than how other kids’ behaviour was affecting them.”
He recalls one troublesome student who would run, swear, fight, attack teachers and was academically two years behind.
“Mindfulness has given him some anger management strategies and cleared up his thought process. Now where he gets angry he’s not just sorry, but he talks about what he did wrong and what he will do next time.”

So why is mindfulness the latest buzzword among the US marines, rapper 50 Cent, a group of British MPs (all of whom practise mindfulness) and yoga mums alike? It’s less a buzzword, explains Rix, and more about getting rid of buzz.
It’s a tricky concept but at its simplest mindfulness is about focusing on the present. What it’s not about is only reducing stress (because then you’re striving for something). Or emptying your mind of all thoughts (they prefer you to observe your current ones). Or religion.

descarga (1)The technique draws on breathing exercises often used in meditation and Buddhism, but there the comparison ends. The aim is to be more aware of thoughts and feelings.
It sounds deceptively vague and hippie-ish but, stresses Rix, this isn’t about chanting and spirituality.
Not everyone is onside. The Ministry of Education received five formal complaints from parents at Riversdale School in the South Island after their principal proposed introducing mindfulness classes.
Katrina Casey, head of sector enablement and support at the MOE, says mindfulness shares some characteristics with Buddhism but isn’t specifically tied to the religion.
“There has been growing interest from schools in the technique. Earlier this year the Secondary Principals’ Association of New Zealand had a guest speaker talk about mindfulness at their annual conference.
“We do not advocate one behaviour management programme over another and we did not commission the Mental Health Foundation’s programme [it was funded by donations]. However, it’s not uncommon for teachers to encourage students to reflect on their behaviour.”

descarga (2)Other schools, she says, are trialling the ‘My Friends’ youth resilience programme as part of a wider, multi-agency initiative aimed at supporting student mental health and wellbeing.
“Schools have a lot of flexibility on all decisions relating to the curriculum and how they encourage good behaviour. Any school is free to introduce such a practice, if backed by its board of trustees in consultation with the school community.”
The modern mindfulness movement, says Rix, is equally informed by neuroscience and psychology.
“It’s nothing new for a secular society to adopt practices from elsewhere and then to study them scientifically, validate and integrate them into secular context.
“It’s a misconception,” he says of the complaints. “But people are entitled to their own views.”

Various district health boards across New Zealand use an eight-week mindfulness course to treat severely depressed or anxious patients. Evidence suggests mindfulness can improve people’s ability to handle stress and alleviate depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress and eating disorders.
Overseas, in 2011 Jacob Piet and Esben Hougaard of Aarhus University, Denmark, published a review of the eight-week course in Clinical Psychology Review.
After six clinical trials with 593 people, they concluded mindfulness-based therapy reduced the risk of relapse for patients with at least three previous incidents of depression by 43 per cent compared to people who received regular treatment. However, there were no significant benefits for people with fewer than three major incidents.

descarga (3)It sounds a simple panacea – safe, relatively cheap, no heavy objects or pills. At times it comes close to channelling New Age waffle, but Westmere Primary’s principal, Carolyn Marino, is a firm believer in the benefits.
“There’s far more anxiety among children than when I first started teaching,” she reflects on her 20-year career. “More children have social and emotional disorders as a result of our society.
“Life isn’t as predictable as it used to be and parents are putting pressure on their children – not necessarily on purpose – but questioning if they’re working hard enough to get that job.”
Marino’s received no complaints – parents who had doubts were swayed after an information evening and now some indulge in mindfulness with their children after nightmares.
“Children live in this digital age where they are constantly being got at and don’t have enough down time to get away from that stimulus. Mindfulness gives them a strategy that helps them be a little more present.”
With so much on our minds at any given time we function regularly on autopilot. We don’t think about the physical and mental process that goes into, say, climbing a set of stairs and rightly so – we’d take forever to get anywhere.

meditateSuch mindlessness is why we often walk into a room forgetting our initial purpose or fail to remember what happened on a three hour journey. Mindfulness teaches us to be present rather than distracted by the past or projecting into the future.
So a mindfulness exercise could be having a shower. Instead of thinking about how your day was or what you need to do, simply notice what’s going on – the floor is wet, the air is steamy, the water hot and so on. Don’t judge if it’s a good or bad shower. Just notice it.
The principles and practice of “mindful leadership” are taught at Harvard; and Oxford University has its own Mindfulness Centre carrying out research into clinical and general health benefits.
Recently the World Health Organisation warned that by 2030 mental health issues will have become society’s biggest healthcare burden.
“This is going to come to a state where [mindfulness in schools] isn’t a luxury – it will have to be a necessity,” says Marino. “I worry about the mental health of our children and the society we’re moving into. The sense of risking failure is very prevalent; the need to be perfect is becoming increasingly obvious in young children.”
Eleven year old Lucy Srzich has taken such a liking for the programme that the time the CD malfunctioned, she led the class.
She was hesitant at first, and some of her friends thought the programme sounded silly. That first session, “a lot of people were giggling,” she says. But she was won over, as were her friends and parents who “researched it and then they were into it”.
Srzich continues to use mindful breathing when she is flustered or angry and needs a moment to calm down.
At the end of 20 minutes’ deep-belly breathing, Rix invites the class to share feedback. “It was just normal, yeah . . .” shrugs one student. Another is more receptive: “I feel like the square around me came out of the ground and floated in the air” he explains, to a flurry of giggles.

imagesA common theme was the light, calm, fresh and relaxed feeling most students notice. If anything, mindfulness is doing wonders for their vocabulary. One explains: “I feel relaxed and calm every time I do this. I notice if I’m feeling worried and I never notice that when I’m playing, then it just builds up until I can’t calm down.”
Another chimes in: “It feels like the world stops spinning; I feel more of the little things.”
Marino took a mindfulness course herself when she was finding her early years as a principal stressful.

“It would be great if every child could be exposed to it as a strategy they could implement into their daily lives,” she argues. “What a great time to start. We try to get kids eating healthier and exercising, setting up those behaviours early on. Young people always seem to be looking into the future or something that isn’t necessarily their reality.
“We often work with our children on anger management strategies around breathing and taking anger out on things that are non-animate – telephone books, for example. This is a nice strategy for kids who might have issues with needing to get back to a place where they can make a sensible decision before they punch somebody.”

92Rix agrees. The biggest feedback from both students and teachers is that it has become easier to identify emotions.
“They’re beginning to recognise how that manifests in their body as a physical sensation and understand what they’re feeling is going to pass. They’ve got this skill where they can drop anchor by paying attention to their breathing and just allow that anger to diffuse in a healthy way rather than lashing out.”
Next year he plans to extend the programme to intermediate schools. The final results of the study will be published early in the new year and Rix hopes they will persuade the Ministry of Education to invest.
It’s not quantitative stuff that can be measured in tests, says Marino, but it’s a building block.
“If you give kids enough exposure and skills they start to build a toolkit and that’s where I see mindfulness sitting. You’re not going to change kids overnight but you can create a shift in how they see themselves or deal with things that come into their lives.”

At the end of the course, children are encouraged to bring in something that will encourage them to practise mindfulness.
Soft toys are popular; one girl brings in a pink fluffy cushion, saying that whenever she cuddles it she practises mindful breathing.
“Others bring in mind jars they have made,” says Rix. “Sometimes a little pebble. Pieces of fruit are popular as well.”
Rix quotes a colleague who worked with a student from a difficult background who had trouble controlling his emotions.
“He was so taken with breathing with the green plants that he came and sat next to the plants I had in the chapel at the end of class, closed his eyes and observed his breathing for several more minutes.
“He asked me if he could take one to keep in his room.”

Why not to take Ayahuasca?

Sanango , Izabal, Guatemala

aya

Thank you so much hermano Sanango from the Sinchi Runa Center in Izabal, for this beautiful article. I totally agree with him on the need for a good preparation, a deep personal understanding of the process, a good mental and physical health state and lots and lots of transparency in the communication with the facilitator/assistant. Each of this parts are important for the success of a session. For the integration I watched the following: with every day you spend in a loving self-embrace; with smoothing, self-love evoking, balancing and harmonizing music; breathing deeply and consciously, while planting seeds of positive thought pattern – the deeper roots of your past (this and every other life on the spiral dance of creation), your destructive pattern and emotional body, the medicine can reach and shift in vibration. This can go on for days and days after the ceremonial encounter – totally depending on your invested degree of awareness, attention, devotion, surrender and passion. REMEMEBER – we talk about engaging in a relationship with a spirit!
I saw similarity in our few about finding the right helper match, which made me smile. I believe in guidance and the good of obeying the free will! So for me it is: 1st let the medicine call you! Feel a pull – in best case more than one’s – feel attracted, sense passion that comes from within, sense nervousness similar to stage fright….All of this are excellent signs of a “call” from your spirit guides. As next step, you can take full responsibility for yourself by clearing deep inside, what you might need in your servant. From there you are well equipped, to choose – from the heart – your work partner for the process. As a last step: with your feet on the ground, make a leap of faith, trust your choice of person and trust the process! 🙂
I found myself laughing out loud, when he calls the Ayahuasca a “des hallucinatory substance” :-).. AHO – I soooo agree!! The nice colors, the geometries and sounds are lovely and amazing also very good for the emotional body – as they are of high vibration and can fill up our “feel good account”. But they are barely a blue print of each individuals soul potential . A blueprint that wants to be manifested into our materialized world – in the alchemical wedding of your spirit in human action. The deep healing, the creational existence of self, the endlessness, we find in the layers beyond.
Isn’t it funny, that even the physical body in compressed form proves to contain 99% emptiness :-)…

Love and Blessings
Edith

There are many indications against taking ayahuasca. At the physical level, the most important is a major cardiovascular disorder. Problems could be caused not so much through the biochemical action of the brew, but through the stress caused by the intense work or circumstance that might come with the session. An ayahuasca session is a great opportunity, but demands a lot of mental and physical strength, for which it is important to have a history free of cardiovascular complications.

At the mental level, there are individuals with serious emotional problems that may hinder the dynamic of the session. These emotional problems can be expressed in daily life by uncontrollable impulses, states of explosive anger or deep states of loss of control. If the participant suffers from so-called black outs or have been diagnosed with a psychiatric mental disorder, a prior personal consultation is needed before the session to evaluate the inner state.

Moreover, there are situations such as addictions or consumption of psychiatric drugs to take into account. If the participant is using any kind of substance, it is very important to have a prior detoxification period. This is preferably done in the center that will realize the ayahuasca session. The use of substances such as cocaine or dopamine stimulants requires a detox period that can vary from 15 to 30 days before the intake of the plant. If the participant discards this indication and wishes to attend a session without disclosing data regarding these issues, it signifies a lack of understanding. Such a participant does not realize the type of medicine that ayahuasca is and will not be ready to participate in a session.

The attitude of the participant seeking their own search for truth, trust, transparency towards himself and to the process, is the most important thing in front of an ayahuasca session or any kind of spiritually based healing.
If the participant is not clear of what type of process he is approaching and has information based only through the impact of online videos, seeking a psychedelic experience or only expecting to receive lights and colorful shapes that can cause great excitement. If the expectation is a spectacular trip or a magic potion, the participant should not drink ayahuasca.

It is important to understand that the mission and spirit of ayahuasca is to heal through comprehension. The great opportunity of humanity with this entheogen is to surpass the barrier of the mind and go beyond the illusion of the state of alertness to obtain wisdom of the universe.
Ayahuasca is not an hallucinogen, is a des hallucinatory substance. Ayahuasca is a portal to the essence of humanity, a portal where memories of the species can be opened. This opening can bring understanding of the higher self and the purpose of each one, not only as an individual, but as humanity. Ayahuasca is a chance to heal the soul and reach the truth that lives within each one.

It is very important that the guide is honest and truthful. Do not take ayahuasca with guides who have new age speeches or messianic ideas. Make sure that the guide or facilitator is not improvising and that has really done a deep work of personal comprehension or a discipular spiritual path. It is advisable to analyze the ethical level of the guide or facilitator, the profusion of “shamans”, “avatars”, “guardians of the medicine” and other bizarre characters is something to avoid when choosing where and with whom to take ayahuasca. An apparent native guide or facilitator does not guarantee anything. Not be swayed by prejudice or pre concepts, neither believe in “shamans”, “natives”, who lives in cities or that are characters full of names or egotistical self-imposed titles.

If you have financial constraints, it is best to wait to fix them. Never make a decision based on finding the cheapest option. Do not trust sessions that only ask for a “collaboration” or are “free”, these are usually desperate acts of the guide or facilitator and is generally a lack of transparency. It is recommended to not do sessions carried out in cities or proceeding from them, in which the guide or facilitator is a multi-task professional.

ayahuasca

A genuine ayahuasca ceremony requires a prior preparation, a purge and a preliminary assessment. It is recommended that ayahuasca sessions be done preferably in a center in the jungle or in the countryside where the participant can disconnect from the everyday world. It is recommended to rest after the experience and make the space to take it seriously.
If the participant has a big schedule which is more important compared to the healing process and the session is one of the many experiences of the itinerary, the participant definitely should not take ayahuasca.

The participant must make a careful choice, free of cultural preconceptions, making the proper space and having the respect it deserves. If the previous points are not taken into account, one should not take Ayahuasca.
The best practice to decide where and with whom to do a session is to listen to one’s heart. It is easy to see who is real or not, this is very important when making this decision.

The participant has a decision to make this experience a chance of understanding something far beyond anything imagined. It’s the opportunity to open the heart, mind and being to the universe. The session is an opportunity to heal and be healed through the compassion of the universe. If the participant reaches humility and pureness of heart, it may understand the most important thing of their existence.

Low Intelligence Linked To Racism and Homophobia

downloadposted by M Caulfield

Frankly, those who give in to racism and prejudice may just simply be rather unintelligent. One study suggested that those who gravitate toward socially conservative ideologies were more inclined to form and hold racist and prejudice views, because the conservative ideologies stress hierarchy and “resistance to change.” But we all know that progress just for the sake of “progress” is equally meaningless.

It may be that those who hold deeply rooted prejudice, and racist views, may actually just not know any better, or are cognitively incapable of being free from bias. Several studies suggest that there is a strong correlation between intolerance, racism, and prejudice in general, with reduced cognitive ability, and lower integrative complexity (putting different, separate, ideas together). In an analysis of two large-scale data sets, it was found that lower intelligence in childhood predicted greater racism in adulthood. A secondary analysis of a U.S. Data set, also confirmed a predictive effect of poor abstract-reasoning skills on anti-homosexual prejudice. People with lower cognitive abilities were found to interact less with individuals of other races.

mlkAlthough valid, this data shouldn’t imply that all racists are of low intelligence: it is likely that some are merely manipulative psychopaths.  But the findings could suggest that those children of lesser intelligence are more likely to establish and hold racist, homophobic and other small-minded and prejudice views.

In one study conducted in the United States, researchers Hodson and Busseri compared 254 people with the same amount of education, but who had varying levels of ability in abstract reasoning. They found that people who were poorer at abstract reasoning were more likely to exhibit prejudice against homosexuals. It doesn’t really come as a surprise that those who are less-tolerant would fall on the slightly close-minded side, because perhaps they lack the ability to abstract or think critically about information for themselves.

dem321Understanding the roots of racism and bias could help eliminate them (prejudice). Anti-prejudice programs encourage participants to see things from another group’s point of view, but that mental exercise may be too taxing for people of low IQ, Hodson said.

Retired American statesman Dr. Ron Paul, has stated that the libertarian movement is the enemy of all racism:

“Racism is a collectivist idea, you put people in categories, you say blacks belong here, and whites here, and women here…but we don’t see people in forms [of groups, like] gays, you don’t have rights because you are gays or women, or minorities, you have rights because you are an individual. So we see people as strictly individuals and we get these individuals in the natural way, so its the exact opposite of all collectivism and its absolutely anti-racism because we don’t see it in those terms”

Although there is a constant movement towards individuals being accepted or who they are, except to some extent from the state, there remain those whowill always hold their passionate and hateful close-minded views toward others.  And maybe some will just never know any better than to operate as such. For the rest of us, we see each individual as a sovereign being deserving of equal rights. And “race” as concrete catagories is socially constructed, to cleverly distract us from recognizing the universal truth that we are all simply human: we all bleed red.
GAY MARRIAGE OPPONENT HOLDS SIGN IN PROTEST OUTSIDE STATEHOUSESure there are cosmetic and external differences, but we each posses the same organs and same functioning human body. We do not need to place ourselves into sealed boxes, and decide to see others as being ‘lesser’ than us because, by blind chance, we were born into a different box. Contemporary views of race continue to reject the validity of any biological basis of race, and in the early twenty–first century it is most common to view race as being constructed from societal beliefs and actions.

Alaska, Oregon & DC Legalize Weed For Recreational Use

What seems like a few states voting in favor of legalization of Marijuana for recreational use, might well be the start of a pleasant chain reaction with all other states in the U.S. and other countries following suit …. seriously considering reforming their drug laws, especially the ones surrounding natural plant based entheogens. With the Global Commission on Drug Policy also proposing complete legalization of all drugs, it does look like we are taking positive steps forward in removing all the unwarranted fears and wrong notions people harbor about some of these substances, while acting in a more humane way by not treating drug addiction like a criminal offence but more like a health and awareness issue which it actually is.

Legalization of Cannabis in Colorado and Washington have provided over 10,000 jobs and has created a multi-billion dollar industry, while helping reduce crime rate in both the states mentioned. You see when people smoke marijuana the last thing they wanna do is get into an altercation with someone. That is just not what stoners like to do, especially when stoned. We all know the effect Alcohol has on human sobriety after couple of extra drinks.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJsdxS1HRsU]

Oregon passed its legalization bill with support from 54 percent of voters, while Alaska passed its bill with 52 percent of voter support. In D.C., an overwhelming 69 percent of voters said “no more” to arrest and incarceration for possessing and using cannabis, a move that freedom advocates predict will have implications for the entire nation, perhaps the world at large.

The Oregon law, as explained by OregonLive.com, recognizes that, as of July 1, 2015, individuals 21 years of age and older can legally possess up to 1 ounce of marijuana in public places and up to 8 ounces in their own homes. These same individuals can legally grow up to four cannabis plants per household.

“The new law gives the Oregon Liquor Control Commission until Jan. 1, 2016[,] to draft rules and implement regulations for production, processing and selling marijuana,” explains OregonLive.com. “The measure says the state must begin receiving licensing applications by Jan. 4, 2016. The first batch of licenses should be issued during the first half of 2016.”

In Alaska, individuals 21 years of age and older to possess and transport up to 1 ounce of cannabis, as well as grow and/or transport up to six cannabis plants at one time. Individuals are free to give up to 1 ounce of marijuana each to someone else, or six immature plants.
While D.C.’s legalization bill does not provision the establishment of recreational stores where Cannabis will be sold, individuals there will be allowed to possess up to 2 ounces of cannabis for personal use — both residents and visitors will have this freedom — and those living in D.C. will be allowed to grow up to six cannabis plants at home.

“With marijuana legal in the federal government’s backyard, it’s going to be increasingly difficult for national politicians to continue ignoring the growing majority of voters who want to end prohibition,” added Tom Angell, chairman of Marijuana Majority, to CNN.
This is what it looks like in Colorado after Legalization …. The video below also features fascinating Cannabis infused Cuisine at Hunter S. Thompson’s place in Aspen, Colorado.

Let’s face it, most of the popular music we listen to, most creative people involved in arts, culture, music, movies … all have at some point in their lives at least tried smoking marijuana once, while some continue to use it regularly with no signs of dementia or any psychological disorder like negative propaganda bandwagon has been harping about for a long time now. On the contrary many renowned artists and musicians today openly state their love for the herb and how it has positively impacted their lives.

Recreational use of the Herb is just one of the many ways to use Cannabis and it may have a negative connotation attached to it since most celebrities who smoke pot flaunt a lavish lifestyle with excesses involved. It is up to each individual to choose the use the herb they way they wish to and there are no absolutes to the effects of smoking weed, it all depends from person to person. Hence, legal regulation of the Herb, just like alcohol does seem like the way forward.
Cannabis undoubtedly has many medical benefits that are now being recognized by the world as it continues to cure people suffering from various illnesses without the use of any pharmaceutical drugs. Here is an interesting documentary titled ‘Burzynski’, which tells the story of a doctor and biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who won the largest and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food an Drug Administration in American history.

It does look like we are in the final days of prohibition ….

The Consciousness Revolution

Consciousness Revolution

by Graham Hancock

Consciousness is one of the great mysteries of science – perhaps the greatest mystery. We all know we have it, when we think, when we dream, when we savor tastes and aromas, when we hear a great symphony, when we fall in love, and it is surely the most intimate, the most sapient, the most personal part of ourselves. Yet no one can really claim to have understood and explained it completely. There’s no doubt it’s associated with the brain in some way but the nature of that association is far from clear. In particular how do these three pounds of material stuff inside our skulls allow us to have experiences?

Professor David Chalmers of the Australian National University has dubbed this the “hard problem” of consciousness; but many scientists, particularly those (still in the majority) who are philosophically inclined to believe that all phenomena can be reduced to material interactions, deny that any problem exists. To them it seems self-evident that physical processes within the stuff of the brain produce consciousness rather in the way that a generator produces electricity – i.e. consciousness is an “epiphenomenon” of brain activity. And they see it as equally obvious that there cannot be such things as conscious survival of death or out-of-body experiences since both consciousness and experience are confined to the brain and must die when the brain dies.

images (3)Yet other scientists with equally impressive credentials are not so sure and are increasingly willing to consider a very different analogy – namely that the relationship of consciousness to the brain may be less like the relationship of the generator to the electricity it produces and more like the relationship of the TV signal to the TV set. In that case when the TV set is destroyed – dead – the signal still continues. Nothing in the present state of knowledge of neuroscience rules this revolutionary possibility out. True, if you damage certain areas of the brain certain areas of consciousness are compromised, but this does not prove that those areas of the brain generate the relevant areas of consciousness. If you were to damage certain areas of your TV set the picture would deteriorate or vanish but the TV signal would remain intact.
We are, in other words, confronted by at least as much mystery as fact around the subject of consciousness and this being the case we should remember that what seems obvious and self-evident to one generation may not seem at all obvious or self-evident to the next. For hundreds of years it was obvious and self-evident to the greatest human minds that the sun moved around the earth – one need only look to the sky, they said, to see the truth of this proposition. Indeed those who maintained the revolutionary view that the earth moved around the sun faced the Inquisition and death by burning at the stake. Yet as it turned out the revolutionaries were right and orthodoxy was terribly, ridiculously wrong.

The-Painters-Universe-by-Cherie-Roe-DirksenThe same may well prove to be true with the mystery of consciousness. Yes, it does seem obvious and self-evident that the brain produces it (the generator analogy), but this is a deduction from incomplete data and categorically NOT yet an established and irrefutable fact. New discoveries may force materialist science to rescind this theory in favour of something more like the TV analogy in which the brain comes to be understood as a transceiver rather than as a generator of consciousness and in which consciousness is recognized as fundamentally “non-local” in nature – perhaps even as one of the basic driving forces of the universe. At the very least we should withhold judgment on this “hard problem” until more evidence is in and view with suspicion those who hold dogmatic and ideological views about the nature of consciousness.

It’s at this point that the whole seemingly academic issue becomes intensely political and current because modern technological society idealizes and is monopolistically focused on only one state of consciousness – the alert, problem-solving state of consciousness that makes us efficient producers and consumers of material goods and services. At the same time our society seeks to police and control a wide range of other “altered” states of consciousness on the basis of the unproven proposition that consciousness is generated by the brain.

I refer here to the so-called “war on drugs” which is really better understood as a war on consciousness and which maintains, supposedly in the interests of society, that we as adults do not have the right or maturity to make sovereign decisions about our own consciousness and about the states of consciousness we wish to explore and embrace. This extraordinary imposition on adult cognitive liberty is justified by the idea that our brain activity, disturbed by drugs, will adversely impact our behavior towards others. Yet anyone who pauses to think seriously for even a moment must realize that we already have adequate laws that govern adverse behavior towards others and that the real purpose of the “war on drugs” must therefore be to bear down on consciousness itself.

222ce-bhang2bthe2bindian2bpsychoactive2bdrink2bmade2bfrom2bcannabis2bduring2bthe2bholi2bfestivalConfirmation that this is so came from the last British Labor government. It declared that its drug policy would be based on scientific evidence yet in 2009 it sacked Professor David Nutt, Chairman of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, for stating the simple statistical fact that cannabis is less dangerous (in terms of measured “harms”) than tobacco and alcohol and that ecstasy is less dangerous than horse-riding. Clearly what was at play here were ideological issues of great importance to the powers that be. And this is an ideology that sticks stubbornly in place regardless of changes in the complexion of the government of the day. The present Conservative-Liberal coalition remains just as adamant in its enforcement of the so-called war on drugs as its Labor predecessor, and continues in the name of this “war” to pour public money – our money – into large, armed, drug-enforcement bureaucracies which are entitled to break down our doors at dead of night, invade our homes, ruin our reputations and put us behind bars.

All of this, we have been persuaded, is in our own interests. Yet if we as adults are not free to make sovereign decisions – right or wrong – about our own consciousness, that most intimate, that most sapient, that most personal part of ourselves, then in what useful sense can we be said to be free at all? And how are we to begin to take real and meaningful responsibility for all the other aspects of our lives when our governments seek to disenfranchise us from this most fundamental of all human rights and responsibilities?

In this connection it is interesting to note that our society has no objection to altering consciousness per se. On the contrary many consciousness-altering drugs, such as Prozac, Seroxat, Ritalin and alcohol, are either massively over-prescribed or freely available today, and make huge fortunes for their manufacturers, but remain entirely legal despite causing obvious harms. Could this be because such legal drugs do not alter consciousness in ways that threaten the monopolistic dominance of the alert problem-solving state of consciousness, while a good number of illegal drugs, such as cannabis, LSD, DMT and psilocybin, do?

13There is a revolution in the making here, and what is at stake transcends the case for cognitive liberty as an essential and inalienable adult human right. If it turns out that the brain is not a generator but a transceiver of consciousness then we must consider some little-known scientific research that points to a seemingly outlandish possibility, namely that a particular category of illegal drugs, the hallucinogens such as LSD, DMT and psilocybin, may alter the receiver wavelength of the brain and allow us to gain contact with intelligent non-material entities, “light beings”, “spirits”, “machine elves” (as Terence McKenna called them) – perhaps even the inhabitants of other dimensions. This possibility is regarded as plain fact by shamans in hunter-gatherer societies who for thousands of years have made use of visionary plants and fungi to enter and interact with what they construe as the “spirit world”. Intriguingly it was also specifically envisaged by Dr Rick Strassman, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico, following his ground-breaking research with human volunteers and DMT carried out in the 1990’s – a project that produced findings with shattering implications for our understanding of the nature of reality. For further information on Strassman’s revolutionary work see his book DMT: The Spirit Molecule.

Sex And Intimacy

19_sSex And Intimacy

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
Frank Herbert

Let’s Talk About Sex

Sex and Intimacy are perhaps two of the most difficult subjects to talk about. But why is that? Well our collective fear, guilt and shame which have been running through our societies for centuries have a lot to answer for. If we were raised in Christian countries we have been given the message that sex is somehow dirty and wrong, that we can’t have sex before we get married and that once married we can only have sex with that person for the rest of our lives.

So we learn to suppress our desires..better not tell the wife that the new 25 year old beautiful neighbour with pert breasts is in any way attractive…God forbid that we own this desire for fear of shame and a level of retribution that only wives know how to deliver. So we pretend. We pretend that we are satisfied with our once weekly, if we are lucky, or once monthly, sexual interaction with our wife, that lacks everything that we long for. We want to be cradled in Love, in total acceptance, we want to see the desire in their eyes and feel it in their bodies. We want to join, to become one, to move our energies as one being and to connect with something far greater than ourselves in the union that Love Making is. But we convince ourselves that a few minutes of genital pleasure and a spasm of ejaculatory release is somehow more meaningful than the deepest bliss of being that we can experience when we make Love when we learn to drop away from our programming.

mindful-sex-intimacy-connectionFear

So it seems clear to me that we live in a climate of fear. Fear of being judged, fear of getting it wrong, fear of not being enough, fear of rejection, fear of breaking away from our old patterns of being and relating, fear of loss of attachment, and ultimately fear of not being Loved. This octopus of fear has men well and truly caught up in its tentacles, constricted, heart broken and emotionally castrated men limp through life yearning for it to be radically different.

Some men head off into the field of affairs where the hopes that the grass is greener fuels their secret rendezvous. Others turn to the ladies of the night so they can just once in a while feel the touch of a woman’s body, others sit by the dimmed light of their lap tops watching pneumatically breasted women pretend they are enjoying being f*cked by a series of men. And the result of this??? Yet more fear, guilt and shame around our sexuality.

What is the solution?

It seems clear to me that there needs to be a move towards freedom. A freedom to be heard in our desires, a freedom to be seen as sexual, a freedom to be met with acceptance, a freedom to connect intimately with the people that we love, a freedom to be liberated beyond the shackles of conformity and a freedom to live a life infused with Joy, Love, and Ease.

Yes! This is what I want!

So you’ve made the first step. You’ve decided that something needs to be different. You know you want to be free of guilt, fear and shame around your sexuality…so what next? This is a journey that needs to be travelled, and with all journeys when we have a guide it’s much easier to find our way. This is the role of the Dakini or Sacred Sexual Priestess. She will guide you through your feelings, out of your mind and into your body. She will teach you how to Love beyond any Love you have felt before and she will teach you how to let go of All that doesn’t serve you while holding you within a container of total Love and Acceptance. This is the way of the Dakini…this is the Path of Tantra.

A-WpdlGCAAEapwgA note on male ejaculation

I am asked by many men about ejaculation and so here are my thoughts on it. A man’s weakest link sexually is that he tends to need to want to release stress through sex: actualised by an addiction to ejaculation and rituals of comfort, born from teenage years of masturbation. What results is that a man will treat his woman as a receptacle for his tension, his frustration, his burden and his semen. He wants his woman to take on everything and to leave him empty. How do you think this leaves the woman feeling?

Initially in my Tantra session I will teach you how to not to ejaculate, but instead how to hold onto your energy, to move it skilfully through the body. To use it to open up your heart, to heal, to bring in more consciousness and presence and ultimately to open to the Divine and to create a path of complete freedom for yourself.

Once you have mastered this I will teach you that a woman wants to be filled, but filled by Love, energy and passion, not tension and frustration. She wants to support her man in feeling utter release – sheer bounded consciousness, free of fear and stress which is the quality of a man’s true nature. That with practice a man can learn to empty himself of his entire sense of separateness, consciously. In loving embrace with her he learns to confront his fears, his need for comfort and control, and he lets go and surrenders into Love – her Love. Then with time he realises that the Love he feels in her heart is also the true nature of his heart and so he realises that this Love that he so longs for can actually be attained with or without a woman in his arms. As this Love is an expression of his true nature.
