6 Spirit Guides From The Animal Kingdom That Enjoy Mating For Life

ghby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
yesterday after sharing my article on
How Indigenous Wisdom, Shamanism, Environmentalism & Our Awakening Meet” I ran into this beautiful post from the White Wolf Pack page, about 10 animals who mate for life. Now some of you might remember  that the last Taurus New Moon brought us the energy field and possibility for a love that lasts. So reading about the beloved animal kingdoms representatives who mate for life, it was immediately visible that 6 out of the 10 examples are also animals well known as helper for humanity. Day by day now, we are collectively tapping deeper into the awareness that we share our reality not only with other people, but also with the Animal Kingdom. More and more people receive messages by the other world, transported by animal spirits.

Over the last few month the spirit guides and angelic realm have dropped hints, that we collectively need to make a deeper inner connection with mother earth and our own human nature. With this profounder union in our bones and the chances for love that lasts, I am happy to introduce you to the characteristics of six animal spirit guides that enjoy having a mate for life!wol1.) The Wolfs
One of the most outstanding qualities of the Wolf is the ability of community building. Wolf packs are socially smart, deeply structured and highly organized animal communities. Indeed the wolf can energetically transmit to us, the understanding how Brotherhood of Men works, when we take the deeper animal nature of human beings into account. They can teach us how to stand our ground and defend our boundaries in an appropriate, not hurtful and clear way. An expression that still allows us to keep by heart relaying to another, when our opinions and personal needs go apart. Qualities we need if we want to ground a “love that lasts”. Wolfs have an air of inner freedom to them, even that they are deeply loyal and emotional intelligent in their relationships. Skills we need for the Golden Age of Love!1A_12.) The Eagles
Eagles are messenger from the divine blueprint of our spiritual path on planet earth. Well known about this animals usual behavior is, that when trouble come down on us on planet earth, they simply rise and soar above all clouds. With this strength, they are helping us to develop states of higher consciousness, higher powers of communication and the ability to listen carefully to our intuition. Supported by the eagle medicine we are empowered to deeply ground our spiritual awareness, to purify our energy field and cleans old believe pattern. The eagle reminds us to integrate the awareness of the Hermetic Laws in our life, that all things material are build from the mind.beaver3.) The Beavers
Beaver are the ingenious builder and constructor of new realities with stable foundations. They are representing the power how to step by step come from visions, burning desires, soul dream and insights; to an as stable experienced reality, that represents all this guidance in our life. They give us the encouragement and inspiration that we need, in order to reach our deepest desires and soul goals. Beaver are big team player in general, maybe that is why they have happy marriages ;-). They know how to make everyone in the team feel appreciated, respected and used according to their personal skills. Quite important abilities to develop for humanity too, in the collective awakening process.coyote4.) The Coyotes
Personally I love the Coyote energy. I called my first dog Coyote for his cheeky character and childlike playfulness, even in old age. The Coyote is the clown of the nature realms, known for his trickster, shape-shifter, and transformer qualities. The Coyote tells us to be mindful of the impact of the hermetic laws in our actions. To raise our awareness for the inner self-sabotage system, that allows us to play tricks on ourselves and others (the illusion of Maya). Coyote also reminds us that the consequences of our actions effect more than just ourselves, as we are truly one on this planet and beyond. In his playful ways, he brings along endings and new beginnings, and therefor represents the cycle of life and death in nature.ra5.) The Ravens
The Ravens are representatives of the divine magic within the material world. They bring us higher awareness of the divine balance between the light and the dark side of existence. Wise as they are, they are master of the time and space continuum. A bridge between the underworld, the present moment on planet earth and the spirit realms. When in tune with the ravens medicine, we are moving through transitions and changes of consciousness more smoothly and from a place of inner ease. Profound healing created by the renewal of our energy are possible under the influence of the raven power. condor6.) The Condors/New World Vultures
The vulture is all about rising to higher awareness, patience and resourcefulness. Like most of us, vultures like eating well, but they do not hunt! What they know to do best, it to seizes the chances and resources that show themselves as available. From them we can learn how to go from “working hard” for our dreams and soul desires; to allowing them to present themselves to us!! When we have the passion and clarity to plant our seeds well, the vulture medicine will help us develop the patience it takes, to receive. When we are about to develop new abilities or projects, the vulture is also bringing message to make sure we check our core values before we call new beginnings into manifestation! Vultures have well developed physical senses. They can smell fresh meat from miles away and have highly advanced vision. Connecting with the vulture medicine remembers us to trust our body, to also develop our higher physical senses and become one with nature within.

Dear Ones, I hope you enjoy this insides and find maybe also some guidance for your personal path in them. I hope you are motivated and will have fun developing a relationship with the animal spirit guides. Let your body teach you, motivated by the animal kingdoms loving guidance!
Love and Nature Blessings!!

A Right To Live – Humanity in Harmony with Mother Earth & the Nature Forces

sasby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
over the last few month we have been invited by the collective awakening energies to build a stronger bond with the forces of the nature kingdom. To evolve in sensitivity to our physical bodies sensory abilities, and make friends with beings from the crystal, the animal and plant kingdom of creation. Such a love connection and elevated oneness feeling naturally brings some questions into focus, about the way we treat nature and the blessings given by mother earth. Questions like, who has a right to life?  Only one species? Do humans have the right to exterminate any species they want to kill? Do we really have to go there?

Today, we are living in the age of the greatest wave of extinctions since the Permian extinction 250 million years ago. There are those who call this situation human “progress”.  There are others, however, that have a different vision, one of harmony and oneness, balance and co-operation with the planets blessings. Around the world many people are coming to see the present world system as a form of suicidal madness. In the article “the Alchemy of Conscious breathing – the golden path of ascension” I shared how in the merging process of spirit coming to life as material beings, the elements are building our physical body. Knowing that, how can we still think we could abuse, consciously harm and depress the forests, the big waters, all types of animals and resources of the planet, without harming the collective of humanity as well??!!

The simple truth is – we can’t!! And there are those who started to recognize that and are putting this important spiritual awareness into actions. The Bolivian President, Evo Morales, has released an act of “Laws of the rights of mother earth”. This Act for pacha mama, is intended to recognize the rights of Mother Earth, including also the obligations and duties of society to ensure respect for these rights. We can hope that over time other governments will pick up on the idea, and start protecting the environment from their own greed and wrong doings.70For humanity collectively most important things, confirmed as law are:
~ Respect and defend the rights of Mother Earth. The State and any individual or collective person must respect, protect and guarantee the rights of Mother Earth for the well-being of current and future generations.
Remember: Just as the Native American Code of Ethics teaches us, “we have only borrowed this earth from our children, and each of our decisions should serve the next 7 Generations!!

~ No commercialism. Neither living systems nor processes that sustain them may be commercialized, nor serve anyone’s private property.
This is super important as in more and more places of the world, the rich and famous have neglected the international right of excess to the water bodies of the world, have created private beaches and limited the possibility for the locals in need, to be nourished by the water powers.

~The right to preserve the functionality of the water cycle, its existence in the quantity and quality needed to sustain living systems, and its protection from pollution for the reproduction of the life of Mother Earth and all its components.
This is huge!! If this law is properly enforced, it means that big concerns like Nestle and Coca Cola don’t have a chance to come in, by land all over the place and than cut of water sources for the indigenous communities, that have lived there since generations.

~ Multiculturalism. The exercise of the rights of Mother Earth requires the recognition, recovery, respect, protection, and dialogue of the diversity of feelings, values, knowledge, skills, practices, transcendence, transformation, science, technology and standards, of all the cultures of the world who seek to live in harmony with nature.
This one I love with all my heart, as what they are literately describing is the manifestation off the Golden Age of Aquarius. When all nations and private people come together in order to share their abilities and gifts, knowledge and technologies how to care properly for the earth, a Golden Time for this planet is possible!

Take a moment to contemplate and don’t forget, last month I shared with you a set of four songs and one prayer, that help us develop and cultivate a deep inner relationship with the element water, the element air, the element earth, the element fire and the element ether (the all uniting spirit of the universe), if you have not started using this connections for your daily life jet, “it is never to late to make the first step”!!von naDear Ones, I hope you feel the loving embrace of earth, the storming winds, the floating waters and the passionate fire of life deep within your being. I hope they allow you profound insides into your own human nature and the oneness we truly live on planet earth. May all your attempts to bring more awareness and clarity into this world be blessed with rich success, and may you find a home in the true nature of your all uniting loving heart.
Blessings and naturally flowing Love!

My Dog, My Baby! Is It An Insult To Call A Dogs My Baby – Or Is It Equality

aby Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
in yesterdays post I talked about how the intense influence of the recent high energy impacts has again triggered a pineal gland awakening in many people. I shared that such an awakening increases our psychic abilities, and that the energy field of Francis of Assisi can help us manage this new born inner strength. The Ascended Master Francis of Assisi is well know as a very big animal lover and healer of all wounds within the animal realm. How it works for us to use his powers in order to help our pets in their healing process, I mentioned in this article from January
!
In my work I can see, that many people have followed the resent call from the universe, to increase their connection with the forces of mother nature. For some of them the first sign was an increased love for the animal kingdom, a feeling of a more direct connection and communication and a sense for our oneness. So when I ran into this article from Elisabeth Broadbent on YourTango claiming, that calling our dogs our babies would be an insult to all moms, I actually felt a bit insulted by her ;-). I think in many of her perspectives, she is missing a bigger few and claims a very small picture as “truth”. But see for yourselves! As it is easy and direct, I commented on the original article directly below and in color.

Her fiery claim is: Say you love them, but don’t call them your “furkid.”
I have a dog. Two dogs, in fact. We got our puppies before we got our kids, and we loved them. We kissed them. We cuddled them. We bought them too many toys; we overindulged them with treats. We gave them silly pet names and let them sleep in our beds. But never did we call those beloved canines “furkids” or “furbabies”. Because the last I checked, dogs ain’t people. — Your puppy is not your child, so stop saying that he is. I have three children now, and I know this for certain — kids and dogs are not same.
The very first thing that pops into my mind on this is the question, how do we define motherhood. And is only allowed that we emotionally experience ourselves as mother, even when we have not given birth?? What is the point in this story??cThink about when you got your puppy. You probably picked him out at the local ASPCA, or selected him from the local breeder. Basically, you pointed to a dog and said, “That one.” On the other hand, most mothers went through nine months of body invasion, followed by one of the most intense physical experiences of her life. Then they dropped a baby on her chest. It was all agony and joy and angels singing. And even if you adopt, you go through paperwork and waiting hell before you find yourself weak in the knees, hands a-tremble, as you weep with joy when someone hands you your child for the first time. Getting a dog just doesn’t stack up.
Interesting that the author feels so comfortable to assume how other people came to living with dogs. In my personal case, non of her assumptions are true at all. My dog found me, she was a street dog and about 4 month when we met first. It was her who started following me for touch and kindness, and it was her who decided to give up her freedom for living with me. I was there when she got pregnant, all her pregnancy and she gave birth next to my bed. All criteria she mentions as right to claim motherhood ;-)…

Yes, both puppies and newborn babies wake up in the night. It sucks to wake up and let a dog out but it sucks more to wake up and attempt to latch an unwilling, wailing infant to your breast. Then, once you’ve managed to feed your bundle of joy, you have to get him back to sleep. The puppy doesn’t decide to party until 5am, at which point it’s time for another feeding.
Again I can just say we are talking about assumptions. How dogs behave in the night has much to do with the environment we are living in and the amount of dogs we have. I ended up with four of them, the mother and three of her boys. And my home is on the country side of Guatemala. There are tons of street dogs out there and in the night there are concerts and fights going on. Sounds a pack does react to!!

Then there’s babyproofing. You puppy-proofed your house — you removed all things chewable, took up poisonous plants, and provided appropriate chew toys. When I babyproofed my house, I had to make sure little hands couldn’t gain access to caustic cleaning fluids. I had to look for strangulation hazards (goodbye, Roman blinds) and put safety locks on all the cabinets (which are a giant pain in the ass). If I failed in my duties, I’m not facing a chewed-up family heirloom; I’m looking at a dead kid and a DSS inquiry. The stakes are a wee bit higher.
That is a very interesting way of putting the idea of responsibility and acting from a place of fear, and present it as something glorious. Don’t get me wrong, of course parents carry a big responsibility for their children’s life, but what I hear her actually saying is “ my child’s life is more worth than an animals life”, and that is what I am putting out for discussion.dNot that owning a dog isn’t high stakes. You’re responsible for the feeding and caring of your dog. Pet ownership is a serious commitment that should only be taken up by those who really mean to care for an animal for the rest of it’s natural life. You’re stuck with your dog … except you’re not because you can leave. Before my husband and I had kids, we traveled all the time — dropped the pups by the doggie spa, paid extra for playground time, and hopped the plane guilt-free. I can’t just leave my toddlers. Sure, maybe one day I’ll be able to leave them with relatives for some overnights. But it’s not quite as simple as plunking my credit card down at the kennel.
Definitely have to disagree here! First of all – ownership of a dog is an illusion that we humans have created for ourselves. Sure, we can MAKE them live with us and obey our demands – but dogs are in essence free spirits and can not really be OWNED, and because of that they actually handle life very similar than children. And – just because one can manage to get away guilt-free, and just because we can outsource our personal responsibilities in this world by spending money, does not mean our actions are correct. When ever I have to leave more than three days, and no matter how well I prepare their care-taking in our home, I can feel the irritation of my absence in the energy field of the pack.

You can mostly ignore your dog. Yes, your dog lives in your house, and yes, you love it. But your attention is not focused on the dog every moment it’s awake. Five minutes of inattention on my part and my toddler’s drinking bleach and bathing in the toilet. If my kids are awake, I need to know what they’re doing, where they’re doing it, and what they’re doing it with. I don’t have to follow them from room to room, but it helps.
Well, this one actually is insulting and contradiction to really feeling responsible for a dog. And also collectively, it is not even true! My dogs make disturbing waves in my brain when they want to reach me, they know how to interrupt the computer monitor – when I am too concentrated on writing and don’t listen, and when I am a bit tired on our morning walks – it can happen they push me out of the way with their thought waves. So hell no – when you actually have a relationship with your dogs and your third eye is a bit open, you can not ignore them at all!!!bAnd at the risk of sounding like an annoying parent here: Kids do some amazing things dogs just can’t stack up to. Sure, you can teach Fido to fetch, but that pride is nothing compared to your kid learning to read. Both give sloppy kisses, but only one lisps, “I wuv you, mommy.” Potty training’s more of a milestone. And can your dog draw you pictures with hearts on them? None of this covers the myriad of things I have to do for my kids every day. My dogs watch me prepare lunches, read The Cat in the Hat, and wipe snot off people’s faces. While my pups take their business outside, my kids require constant diaper changes.
This actually triggers compassion in me. I understand that it is wonderful to watch others grow, to see their accomplishments and celebrate their leaps, how much is it our place to be “proud about that”. There is something in the sound of this sentence that vibrates like – their success is my pay back to me – and that is something I would be careful with.

The dogs don’t melt down when their favorite Star Wars figure breaks and they bite me a hell of a lot less. They don’t call me a “poop-head.” This is just one of the reasons I love them.
So basically she loves dogs because they don’t have a voice (in her opinion) and can not tell her, when she acts like an ass?

I know you’ll say I sound like a self-righteous parent here. Maybe you don’t ever want kids, which you’ll somehow make germane to the discussion, but which is neither here nor there. Say you love your dogs. Say they make your life worth living. Say they’re your one-and-only. Call yourself a dog person. But don’t call your dog a baby. Don’t call him your “furkid” or “furbaby.” Because baby, it’s not even close.
Well that is a Bingo, I think she sounds like a self-righteous parent here ;-). And if we are talking about insult and respect here, it is very disrespectful to all the women, who out of personal life situations, never have the chance to mother a human child!!

Dear Friends, I am very interested to hear if the past few weeks have changed something in the perception of your pineal gland. I you have different experiences with the animal kingdom and, how you think about the baby / dog discussion. Do you think that only when we are the physical mother of a human child, we have a right to claim motherhood?? Or is oneness and compassion something that brings us together so close, that the species does not matter anymore? Looking forward to hear about your inner studies!!
Love & Light

Edith

The Spiritual Side of Environmentalism

abDear Friends,
I absolutely love this beautiful article. Indeed I think it is a masterpiece to understand, that an authentic expression of spirituality – naturally leads to the need for a renewed, deeper and more tuned-in relationship with nature and mother earth. And to me this lines confirm, that Indigo Children, Crystal Children and Empath are our natural leader in the movement towards positive spiritual activism, as they suffer with the environment and earth abuses – just as much as they suffer with the human beings and animals, who get harmed  in this world. My personal experience is just as the divine / hermetic Law of Correspondence states – ABOVE AS BELOW – the more my higher-self is guiding me, the deeper I desire to dig into the blessings Mother Earth is providing and spend time in profound connection with her funny spirits!
Hope your activism is inflamed already! And that you are burning from within, for the preservation and sustainability of the mutual ground we stand on!!!
Love and Blessings to you!!
Edith
When we think of spirituality, it is often in terms of a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves or a search for meaning in life. Some people may associate spirituality with going to church or temple, praying, meditating, fasting, attending spiritual retreats, making a spiritual pilgrimage, or spending time in nature. Most would agree that essentially all widely-accepted forms of spirituality are centered around love, compassion and caring for others, developing a connection to the source of life, and living in an ethical and moral manner.

Spirituality and Environmentalism

If we accept that spirituality compels us toward love, compassion, and ethical ways of living, then spirituality necessarily leads us toward a moral imperative to take better care of the Earth than we are now doing as a global society. All living beings are inextricably connected to the Earth. We are made of her elements and minerals. We emerge from her at birth; we eat the food and drink the water that she provides; and at the end of life, we become a part of her once again. As humans, we also intrinsically rely on far deeper aspects of our relationship with nature, such as our need for creative inspiration, peace and tranquility, and a deep inter-connectedness to the energy and vibration of all life on the planet.
The Earth is a complex and intricate web. When we negatively impact our planet, we harm all beings who depend on her for life. Likewise, when we hurt people, plants, or animals, we damage the Earth as well. If we look within, we are sure to find a longing in our hearts to protect the Earth herself from suffering and sadness, to create a world in which we can each pursue our dreams and aspirations without harming the one planet that supports the type of life that we love and treasure.

ahWhat Are We Doing to Ourselves?

When we reflect on the need for meetings such as the COP 21 conference or initiatives such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we automatically enter into a moral and spiritual discussion, due to the gravity of our current situation. Even the UN officials and many world leaders seem to be speaking in spiritual terms at times, as they express their concern over the environmental crisis. This is because global warming is not simply causing unusual weather patterns and hotter summers. The impacts from climate change are much more severe and life-threatening, and much more immediate, than we can tell by looking out of our own windows.
Global warming is cutting off large populations of people from their traditional modes of subsistence, rendering them unable to feed themselves or their children. It is causing the unchecked spread of diseases such as malaria. It is decimating species at the fastest rates the Earth has experienced since before humans emerged on the planet. It is causing untold suffering for people and animals in polar regions, rain-forests, and other delicate ecosystems, where the rapid environmental changes are decimating their way of life. Our modern society based on endless consumption, which is the primary cause of global warming, has other harmful side effects which also bring ethics into the picture:

Our world leaders, particularly those participating in the ongoing United Nations climate discussions leading up to COP 21, are faced with a question that seems nearly impossible to answer:
Now that we are so deeply entrenched in this way of living, what can we do to turn things around?

abaPolitical Initiatives With a Spiritual Basis

World leaders are spurring political action on many fronts that is increasingly aligned with spiritual and ethical goals as a path to environmental sustainability: The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals include objectives inspired by spiritual and ethical tenets such as ending poverty, promoting gender equality, protecting the oceans, ensuring sustainable food production, and protecting forests and biodiversity. To protect indigenous groups that have been harmed by oil drilling and climate change, indigenous pavilions and Rights of Nature tribunals will occur at the COP 21 meetings in Paris in December 2015. The Earth and its vital ecosystems are beginning to receive the respect and legal protection that was previously reserved for humans. For example, in New Zealand earlier this year, a river was legally granted the rights of personhood.

Taking Individual Action Based on Spirituality

An over-dependence on logic, technology, and economics got us into this mess. So it makes heart sense—soul sense—that spirituality, intuition, and reconnecting with nature may be the only way out. Let us consider a new definition of spirituality. Spirituality as our system of deeply-held beliefs that allow us to go beyond politics, beyond economics, beyond societal norms in order to make decisions for the common good of all beings. Beliefs that connect us to the very heart of who we are and what we know is most important. Although it may be difficult, we can rise above materialism and societal norms when we know it is the right thing to do. When we recognize that we are harming each other, that our everyday actions are depleting the resources of Mother Earth who gave us life, that by accepting the modern dream of materialism and consumption we are reducing the possibilities for future generations to thrive and pursue their own dreams …HumanTreeWhen we accept these truths into our hearts and allow our true nature to respond with full emotion and allow ourselves to feel the longing for a better way of living … Then, at that very moment, our spirituality opens up a new space of clarity within us, where we fully internalize the conviction that each one of us has the universal responsibility to make the world a better place. Then, suddenly, we know what it is that we need to do in the world. How our small, precious set of skills and our unique viewpoint can lend a vital force and power to the vast movement that is occurring in the world at this time.
Every one of us has talents that can make a powerful and positive difference in the world. It may be your beautiful singing voice. It may be your talent for public speaking or your ability to bring together diverse groups of people for a shared goal. Or it may be your knowledge of farming, finance, software development, or manufacturing that can lead to a breakthrough in sustainability. We all have a part to play; it is just a matter of finding your inspiration, and that can only come from the deepest reaches of your heart and soul.

9 Animal Species That Use Psychoactive Substances In The Wild

1524815_185511901649386_324707819_nDear Friends,
from day to day now, we are tapping deeper into the awareness of our shared reality with the Animal Kingdom. More and more people receive messages by the other world, transported by animal spirits. Reading this article I can’t help but ask myself if this facts might not be helpful for the human race, when we harmonize our energy field with the Animal Kingdom.
Many of the below mentioned animals are well known helper for us, in indigenous traditions identified as Power animals. I like to think, that the Dolphin in it’s  “trance-like state” is able to tap into the energetic field of humanity to charge us with the amazing qualities their lives represent to us. Same for the Jaguars – who are royal animals to many cultures, the Horse – part of Native American inheritance, the Reindeer the same
for the Nordic countries and Pics  , part of cultural believes worldwide.
So couldn’t it be possible that animals in altered states of awareness also use the same highways of information than humans do and therefor are channeling their characteristics, love and support to us, when consuming psychoactive substances!?? What Do you think? Anybody who can share such an experience?

Wishing you loving and nurturing connections with the animal world!!
Edith

For millennia, our ancestors have enjoyed, and even regarded as sacred, a variety of mind-altering substances. Cultural artifacts, visionary artwork and rituals in many indigenous cultures and past civilizations point to this fact. As Ethan Nadelmann remarked in a recent TED talk, “Our desire to alter our consciousness may be as fundamental as our desires for food, companionship, and sex.”

While Homo sapien consumption for consciousness-expanding purposes is well-documented throughout anthropology and history, ample evidence suggests we are not the only creatures who seek mind-altering plants and substances in their environment.
Indeed, plenty of our animal friends enjoy mind-altering substances: Some eat fermented fruits, psychoactive mushrooms, and opium poppies. Others rub themselves with crushed ants or angry millipedes.
The initial attraction to these substances might not be just to get high, but for nutritional or protective purposes. For example, fermenting fruits might be attractive to certain species because the process signifies the fruit is at its highest caloric value, and is also going to rot soon. In other cases, naturally occurring intoxicants might serve some curative function or contain nutrients that are otherwise scarce in the environment.
But, there’s compelling evidence to suggest that altering one’s state of mind for the simple purposes of experiencing that altered state is a natural drive common to many inhabitants of the animal kingdom. See for yourself.

1. Lemurs and capuchin monkeys get high off of millipedes.

The idea that some animals get high off other animals is an intriguing one, and lemurs and capuchin monkeys seem to be doing just this with poisonous millipedes. The millipedes store toxic chemicals, including cyanide, which they release in defense when provoked. The primates pick up and agitate millipedes and then rub them all over their bodies, coating themselves in the defensive secretions — here’s a BBC documentary clip on this. As mentioned in the video, the primary reason for this seem to be protection against a variety of parasites, but the monkeys and lemurs also seem to enjoy a thoroughly blissful intoxication as a result. The monkeys, being more social animals, have been seen passing a millipede around, reminiscent of a group of people passing around a joint.

images (1)2. Dolphins enjoy the psychoactive effects of poisonous pufferfish.

Similar to the lemurs and monkeys above, dolphins have been observed hanging out in groups of four to seven, passing around an angry pufferfish. The pufferfish releases an extremely potent poison called tetrodotoxin which is more deadly than nerve gas or the venom of the black widow spider, and thus is one of the most toxic compounds known to man. Evolutionary biologist Dr. Christie Wilcox is skeptical of the theory that dolphins are intentionally doing this for the purpose of intoxication and pleasure, but there is some compelling evidence to the contrary. For example, the BBC documentary Spy in the Pod showed dolphins passing around a pufferfish and then floating near the surface of the water, apparently in a “trance-like state.”

3. Many species of birds do what is called “anting.”

A seemingly odd behavior, ravens, myna birds, jays, magpies, and other birds sometimes either rub themselves with ants or get intimate with anthills to coat themselves in ants (see a jay do it here). This is called anting, and its purpose remains unclear.
An article published in the journal of the American Ornithologist’s Union in 1974 reviewed the possible explanations for anting. One theory is that the birds are coating themselves with the ant’s defensive chemical secretions, thus applying a protective coating much like when we apply insect repellent.
Another possibility is that the secretions serve to soothe the bird’s body during molting season. Others point to the curious movement sometimes observed during anting (described by one ecologist as “a curious dance that involved flopping around on the grass with its wings outstretched and its beak open”) as proof of an intoxicated state, suggesting that anting is pleasurable for the birds.
Perhaps the answer is a combination of these theories. Similar to how humans use cannabis, anting may at times serve a protective or curative purpose, while at other times be done mainly for the enjoyment of the altered state it brings about.

4. Many animals seek out fermented fruits in the wild.

It has been widely reported that elephants get themselves drunk from the marula tree’s fermented fruit. Anecdotal reports of these stumbling elephants go back over a century, and the phenomenon was portrayed in the film Animals are Beautiful People by James Uys (Uys also made The Gods Must Be Crazy). The idea is that the fallen fruit ferments either on the ground before being eaten, or in the elephant’s digestive system, yielding one drunk pachyderm.
As fun as it is to think about inebriated elephants, this theory has been debunked by an article published in the Physiological and Biochemical Zoology journal in 2006, and it’s been suggested that the clips shown in the above video were staged by artificially sedating the elephants. For starters, elephants don’t eat the rotten fruit from the ground, instead preferring to ram the tree trunk to shake loose the ripe fruit, even when there’s fruit on the ground available. Another hypothesis, which suggests that the fruit ferments in the digestive system, is also out of the question; the fruits are not in the digestive system long enough for that to happen, and the sugars needed for fermentation are metabolized by the elephant before they can be converted to alcohol by yeast. And, in order to get drunk an elephant would need to eat 1,400 fully fermented marula fruits — an unlikely feat. Despite its improbability, the myth, and convincing videos of seemingly drunk elephants, persist.

images (2)However, there have been confirmed reports of other animals that regularly consume fermented fruit. The pen-tailed treeshrew, native to Thailand and Malaysia, is known to regularly snack on the nectar of the bertam palm tree, sharing this indulgence with the slow loris and several other mammals native to that area, according to a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science in 2008. The palm’s flower bud houses a species of yeast that ferments the nectar, bringing it to a beer-like alcohol content of up to 3.8%. It is estimated that, in one night, the treeshrew can consume the equivalent of nine alcoholic beverages. However, they show no overt signs of intoxication because their bodies use more efficient ways of breaking down alcohol than we do, preventing the accumulation of alcohol necessary for getting drunk. Similarly, bats regularly encounter and consume fermented fruits in the wild. Like the treeshrew, they show no signs of intoxication. When scientists gave bats an alcohol solution and made them fly an obstacle course, they performed no worse than their sober counterparts.

Monkeys also have a taste for alcohol — not only do they seek out fermented fruits, but they also like to steal alcoholic drinks from tourists. And their taste for alcohol has allowed for some pretty interesting research on their drinking habits. Vervet monkeys that were given access to alcohol in a social setting show some striking parallels to the drinking patterns of humans.
The monkeys could be grouped into social drinkers, which prefer sweetened drinks and only drink in the company of others; regular drinkers, which prefer their drinks straight, make good leaders, and are socially dominant; binge drinkers, which are aggressive and can drink themselves to death within months if given unrestricted access to alcohol; and abstainers. What’s more, not only the types of drinkers similar to humans, but the proportions of each of these behavior patterns in the monkeys studied reflects those found in human populations. These findings raise the possibility that our patterns of drug consumption are more fundamental aspects of our animal nature than we might think.

wacky-horse-570x3675. Horses seek out locoweed for its intoxicating effects.

Locoweed refers to any plant that produces the chemical swainsonine. It is thought that horses are initially attracted to these plants because they remain green longer than other plants once winter comes around. However, they begin to seek it out for its intoxicating effects, increasing their use over time. Farmers do their best to eliminate locoweed from their properties, as its frequent consumption is damaging to the animal’s health. A study published in the Journal of Animal Science in 2003 found that horses that ate the weed for two weeks developed significant weight loss and signs of depression. Swainsonine interferes with a metabolic enzyme, resulting in the buildup of the simple sugar mannose in neural cells. If severe, this buildup can lead to heart problems, reproductive difficulties, and neurological damage to the horses.

6. Jaguars eat the ayahuasca vine.

According to this Discovery article, humans aren’t the only ones that use Banisteriopsis caapi (one of the two plants used to make ayahuasca) as a psychoactive. This Amazonian jungle vine contains several compounds called beta-carbolines that potentiate the DMT in the ayahuasca brew by inhibiting bodily enzymes that would otherwise be responsible for breaking down the DMT. It turns out that jaguars also seek out the leaves of this jungle vine.
Higher doses of harmala alkaloids often result in vomiting and diarrhea characteristic of ayahuasca, so one possibility is that they consume the vine to purge the intestinal tract of possible parasites; a study of the Amazonian Piaroa tribe published in the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs suggests that eating the leaves grants the jaguar heightened sensory perception, helping them hunt. However, the jaguars are also known to roll around in ecstasy after consuming the vine, suggesting to some that its use is primarily for pleasure. See it for yourself here.

images7. Reindeer eat the psychoactive Amanita muscaria mushrooms.

These red-and-white psychedelic mushrooms, native to temperate and boreal regions in the Northern Hemisphere and thought to be the sacrament referred to as Soma in one of Hinduism’s foundational texts, are also a favorite snack of reindeer. As Gordon Wasson relates in his book Soma: Divine Mushroom of Immortality, reindeer are reported to prance about after eating the fungi — which are commonly referred to as “fly agaric” — apparently reveling in their intoxicated state. Reindeer are also an integral part of the history of Amanita use by indigenous peoples of Northern Europe and Siberia. As Reset.me recently reported, a 2009 BBC video explains how the Sami people indigenous to the Arctic Circle have long used fly agaric mushrooms in their visionary rituals. It is theorized that the connection between reindeer, Sami and fly agaric mushrooms is the basis for the legend of Santa’s flying reindeer.

Not only did these people herd reindeer, the animal being their main source of food and clothing, but they also got high with a little help from their reindeer friends. The effects of Amanita muscaria are characterized by a certain unpredictability, as their ingestion can bring about a range of thoroughly unpleasant side-effects and physical symptoms. In time, it was discovered that muscimol, the active compound of the mushrooms, is not processed by the body but is instead flushed out through urination while the more toxic compounds responsible for the body load are broken down. This led to the practice in some places of drinking the psychoactive urine of the shaman who had eaten, and thus purified, the mushroom. Some shamans even drank the urine of reindeer that had eaten the mushrooms. It turns out that the reindeer, intelligent in their own right, also realized that they could get high from the urine of a human that had consumed the mushroom, leading to what Cracked humorously referred to as “The Circle of Piss.”

8. Wallabies ravage opium poppy fields.

Tasmania is a leading producer of opium poppies for the pharmaceutical industry, supplying the morphine necessary for the production of painkillers. There’s only one problem: wallabies love the poppies. They’ll raid a field, gorge themselves on poppies, and crush the plantations in the process. As reported by BBC in 2009, the issue of stoned wallabies was even discussed at a parliamentary hearing on the security of opium crops in Tasmania, with the country’s attorney general stating that wallabies were “entering poppy fields, getting high as a kite, and going around in circles.”

download9. Pigs dig up truffles containing cannabinoids.

Black truffles, a gourmet delicacy for us humans, are also a sought-after snack for pigs. These mushrooms grow exclusively below ground and are identified by pigs by their aroma, said to be reminiscent of wet earth, dried fruit, and cacao.  A recent article in the journal Phytochemistry revealed that the black truffle (Tuber melanosporum) contains the cannabinoid anandamide, a compound structurally related to THC that is also found endogenously in the human body and is a key component of the body’s endocannabinoid system. Anandamide derives its name from the Sanskrit word ananda, meaning “bliss.” Researchers suggest that the anandamide in black truffles might be “an ancient attractant to truffle eaters that are well-equipped with with endocannabinoid receptors,” indirectly suggesting that humans might be drawn to truffles for the same reason.

In this period of 2015 we are most certainly in a Wave of powerful transformational energy.  Our lives and our Reality is being changed at a very fast pace and in ways that we are often still coming to terms with. I think that the most recent wave of changes has been the most definitive and also maybe the most surprising.
It has to do with our fellow citizens on the Earth.  The Animals.  Quite simply put, the Earth can ascend no further unless we make peace with the Animal Kingdom.  We have to take into OUR consciousness the fact that in a Fifth Dimensional World we are all connected and related, and that means that we can no longer abuse and destroy without acknowledging that it is ourselves that we are abusing and destroying. This awakening, and this recognition, and ultimately this raising of consciousness has been centered on Africa.  Why?  Well, for several reasons.  Probably the most evident is that Africa is the only continent that still has a large wild life population, but which is now under extreme threat.  Secondly, Africa is the continent that is the focus of the Sirius Project, which is the clear guidance and love of the Sirian Master Teachers from the Sirius Star System. That influence extends from Egypt in the North to South Africa in the South.

Solstice June 21st and “Calling the Animals

At this year’s Solstice celebrations, I was guided by Archangel Michael to call for a Global Meditation on “Calling the Animals”.  The purpose of this was to call the animals to us and to express to them our desire that they should come with us into the New Earth and be part of our New Earth Reality.
I did not realize at that point how crucial it was to the whole Ascension project that would make this expression of intent to our fellow brothers and sisters on the Earth!
Further, I also was shown how the Animals are not inferior forms of life, but are also “Star Seeds”, gifts from the Creative Beings who are our Galactic and Cosmic Family.  If we could not honor our Animal Family, how could we honor the Galactic and Cosmic Family who had gifted these Life Forms to our Planet.
As it happened, I was also invited to attend a Ceremony in the far North of South Africa at an ancient Stone Circle.  This site was located on the “Nile” meridian and also on the borders of South Africa, Swaziland and Mozambique.  Just to the North was the Kruger National Park, our biggest wildlife sanctuary, and beyond that, Zimbabwe.
And so it was that I was privileged to be with a large group of people as we “Called the Animals” from the Sacred Circle that we had  created around the main standing stones. I remember quite clearly calling the Lion of the North.  In our circle, North was towards Kruger and Zimbabwe, home of Cecil the Lion who was to be a major player in this unfolding wave of energy.
I did specifically call the White Lions as the Spirit Keepers of Africa, to be the guardians of the North.  It was also interesting, that our Ceremony was visited by two large Crows, who as messengers of the Spirit world carried our intentions into the Spirit Realms.

Cecil the Lion and the Royal Lions of Sirius
CECIL AFRICAN LION POACHING 291537 1220x812

And so it was that the message was received by the Spirit Keepers of Africa, and the Royal Lions of Sirius.

Now, perhaps I should explain how very important Lions are in the Sirian teachings.
In the creation story, the Prime Creator known as Amun-Ra, gives birth to two beings who are called Shu and Tefnut.  They are the original Masculine and Feminine energies, and Tefnut who is the Feminine, is always depicted as a Lioness Headed Woman.  Lion/ess energy is Sacred to the Sirians, it is a manifestation of the Divine Creative Essence.
And so it is that in Africa, where the Sirius energy is strongest on the Planet, that the Lions came to be the Spirit Keeper of the Continent.  And it was there, in the Spirit Council of the White Lions, that our call was heard.  And so it was decided that a Noble Lion would be needed to bring to Humanity the message of the Lions and the call to “Family” in the New Earth.
And so it was that Cecil, the noble Lion of Hwange, was called to carry the role of the Sacred Path of the Lion King.

Now while this is a beautiful story, it also does not hide the fact that every day Lions are hunted, poached and killed in Africa, and that the death of  Cecil was not a “demanded sacrifice” but an illustration of what is befalling all lions in Africa, and ultimately, all animals on Earth.
The purpose of the very public killing of Cecil the Lion was to bring the energy of the Lion into the Collective Consciousness just at the very moment when the Sun was in Leo and we were approaching a very crucial Ascension Moment in the Lions  Gate of 2015, the 8/8/8.
It was to make Humanity aware of what was happening to the lions and to the animals on the Earth.  To remind Humanity of their mission to love and hold the animals and their purpose of recreating the Garden on the New Earth so that All Life Forms could be present.
And it was to make us aware that our Star Nation brothers and sisters, especially the Sirians, were here present with us in this work.  The powerful energies of the Lion’s Gate are assisting the Planet through the Gateways of Time and into the Higher Dimensions that are guarded by the Royal Sirian Lions of Yesterday and Tomorrow.

leadsiri8/8/8 : The Lion’s Gate and Beyond

The Lion’s Gate of 2015 on the 8th of August is the culmination of an Ascension Wave that will lift the planet into the highest frequencies of Luminosity that have yet been achieved on Earth!
On the 8th of August, the Royal Sirian Lions will be on hand in the Spirit Realm to be the assistants at this wonderful moment of Ascension and Birthing for the Planet. We can be sure too, that Cecil the Lion will be there in Soul/Spirit form, to watch over the final stages of the story that he had such a part in creating.
From this moment forward, the Animals will step into their sovereignty and will become our fellow citizens of the New Earth.
This will create a radical shift in consciousness that will challenge all that we believe about love and compassion and the way in which we embody these essential energies.
We will be required to shift from a society that believes that Humanity is central and that everything on the Planet is simply “resources” to be consumed, to a society that acknowledges the Unity of a Family of Living Beings sharing a common home and a common destiny.
This is the Great Shift we need to make if the Earth is to continue to ascend into her true Destiny as a Planet of Love and Compassion.

Nepal Chooses Kindness — ENDING The World’s Largest Animal Sacrifice Event

images
Dear Friends,
I feel happy, excited and inspired to  share this article with you!! Beautiful things happen on the planet!! What an amazing first step for humanity and our friends from the animal kingdom – the Gadhimai slaughter festival will never be a festival of slaughter again!!!
Remember, just last month I shared two article about the waves of energy we currently receive from heavens, and how they carry the potential for healing with the animal world,  https://edithboyertelmer.wordpress.com/2015/06/20/the-june-2015-solstice/https://edithboyertelmer.wordpress.com/2015/06/26/sacred-circle-for-calling-the-animals-into-the-diamond-vortex-by-celia-fenn/. And here it is! First chance given – first chance taken – for humanity, a big step on its way into the creation of a world in balance and harmony. And a loud statement that cruelty in the name of tradition is no longer tolerateable!!  We need to be brave and embrace changing our actions on all levels of life!
Go home – hug your dog, watch a bird on your way to work or enjoy the sound of bees in the air!! Remember the peace that comes from understanding, how we are naturally one with nature!!
Blessings Edith

Gadhimai Slaughter was blamed for the massive earthquake that hit in April and killed nearly 10,000 lives. People called it the nature’s way of punishment to humanity. Irrespective of the truth, it has influenced this decision in many ways.
In a glorious tribute to the power of compassion, the Gadhimai slaughter festival will now be a ‘momentous celebration of life.’
For centuries the Gadhimai festival in Nepal has seen temple grounds awash with the blood of animals slaughtered in the name of ‘tradition’.
This sacrifice has occurred every five years for the last 300 years.
And it stopped — today.

The Gadhimai Temple Trust hereby declares our formal decision to end animal sacrifice. With your help, we can ensure Gadhimai 2019 is free from bloodshed. Moreover, we can ensure Gadhimai 2019 is a momentous celebration of life … For every life taken, our heart is heavy. The time has come to transform an old tradition.

Hundreds of thousands of water buffalo, goats, chickens and other animals will now be saved from a brutal death by bludgeoning or decapitation.animal sacrifice event in nepal
This achievement is no small feat. We take our hats off to the extraordinary efforts of the Humane Society International/IndiaAnimal Welfare Network Nepal, and countless animal protection groups and individuals around the world who have helped inspire this victory of kindness over cruelty.
And, of course, greatest credit must go to the members of The Gadhimai Temple Trust itself, who recognized that the power to change the trajectory of our common humanity is in our hands.

The Gadhimai Temple Trust has shown that tradition is no excuse for cruelty with its landmark decision.

The incredible news exploded on social media, where a long running campaign has been waged on behalf of the victims of the festival. It is yet another signpost that the pathway our species is paving for itself is slowly but surely bending towards a more compassionate future, championed by caring people in every country of the world.
That is to say, we are getting kinder.
Worldwide, never before has there been such a rate of positive change — in public policy; in commerce; in public awareness and advocacyAnd never before have the animals of this world needed it so much. We have, after all, inherited an age where the majority of animals in human ‘care’ are valued not as living, thinking beings, but as commodities — spending their entire lives confined in factory farms. Nothing short of a profound global shift in thought is needed to awaken our shared responsibility toward our fellow species and break this global cycle of suffering. The Gadhimai Temple Trust has shown that tradition is no excuse for cruelty with its landmark decision.
Could the previously un-thought of Gadhimai ‘celebration of life’ festival be a sign that a kinder world is possible?
Some of the most entrenched cruelty in this world has long been defended in the name of ‘tradition’.
The Festival of Sacrifice is responsible for untold suffering of cattle, sheep and goats — millions of whom have been sold for profit through Australia’s live export trade; closer to home, in the name of Christmas, highly intelligent pigs and turkeys not only experience the terror of slaughter, but entire lifetimes of suffering in factory farms; and sporting events such as bull fights and rodeos still present cruelty as ‘entertainment’…
When kind people seek to transform cruel traditions, they don’t risk losing their identity. They strengthen it by demonstrating that culture cannot be measured by the repetition of practices frozen in time by values of the past. For this, the tradition of the Gadhimai festival will become all the stronger.
In another Nepalese tradition, there is an entire calendar day called ‘Kukur Tihar’ dedicated entirely to thanking dogs for their friendship and loyalty.
It takes compassion and courage to rise above cruelty and recognize that the ways of doing things we inherit from the past do not define us; to recognize that those we share this world with, also share our desire to avoid suffering. Whether in our temples, or in our homes, we can all choose to live without killing.

The roots of cruelty are not so much strong as widespread. But the time must come when inhumanity protected by custom and thoughtlessness will succumb before humanity championed by thought. Let us work that this time may come. Albert SchweitzerIn another Nepalese tradition, there is an entire calendar day called 'Kukur Tihar' dedicated entirely to thanking dogs for their friendship and loyalty.Compassion is fundamental to all human cultures — and when it shines through, traditions steeped in cruelty can be transformed. On scales grand and small, if we want to live in a kinder world, we all have a role to play.

And if the world’s largest animal sacrifice event can be transformed into a ‘celebration of life’, then there is reason to be infinitely hopeful about the future.

Listening With the Heart to Those Who Cannot Speak

Dear Freinds,
this article makes hope and made me cry at the same time! As I am also an empath  and an emotional intuitive, I was in many situations where I could feel the pain of animals. Wherer the energetic field talked to me about their horror and suffering. And some of them shared their happiness, their deep passion for life and for a connection with human beings. It is time we take better care of our fellow animal friends! A wonderful story that fits beautifully to the time we are in – the time to call back the animals into co-creation of a new – harmonious world for all beings!! AHO! Love and best connections!!!
Edith
How a chance encounter with a Horse demonstrates the power of listening with the heart.

As an emotional intuitive, I often find myself called into unchartered territory to be of service to help individuals and animals. It is in these moments that I witness the greatest potential for miracles. Synchronicity does not shout; it whispers, to see if you are listening and courageous enough to be of service.
After a long hike on a Sunday afternoon, my husband and I were famished, but we had arrived at our favorite restaurant only to find that it wouldn’t be open for another hour. It seemed like an easy choice to simply find another place to eat.
But something in my gut said, “Wait!”
We decided to aimlessly tour the countryside for that hour and eventually crossed a street named after my hometown. We giggled and turned the corner. Strolling past the rolling hills of cattle, horses, and sheep; we felt at peace.

Further down the road, I had a strange feeling as we approached a horse isolated in a small pen 25 feet in diameter. He was separated from a group of horses across the road. Intuitively, I could feel the pain and anxiety the horse was experiencing. I told my husband that something was wrong and he asked if he should pull over.
Synchronicity had led me here to be of service so my darling husband happily obliged. Afraid to get out of the car for fear of overstepping personal boundaries, I could feel the inner struggle between being of service to this horse who couldn’t speak for himself and the fear of being yelled at or shot. But the horse’s suffering was too intense to disregard; I decided to act with courage.

horse-eyeI approached the horse in his pen slowly, allowing him to see the loving intention in my eyes and heart. I telepathically let him know that I was there to connect with him and that I cared about what he was feeling. I felt an immediate burst of joy come from inside his heart.

The horse allowed me to feel his deep grief and anxiety. He felt unacceptable and alone. He felt a strong sense of panic, anxiety, humiliation, abandonment, and bewilderment. He didn’t know who he could trust and was terribly unhappy in the tiny pen filled with his own feces that he was left in. This left him feeling humiliated and rejected.
The horse’s pen was one of those pens that had been used for breaking them. I saw a flash of the horse’s past where he was beaten into submission by previous owners, men who had whipped him repeatedly.
The experiences had left him emotionally scarred. Being left alone in that pen told him that he was unacceptable psychologically. I could feel that no matter how many times he had tried to trust, he had been consistently betrayed, mistreated, and left alone. He longed to be free, grazing with the other horses in the pasture. Most people do not understand that horses, like other conscious animals, form attachments and have real emotions like humans.
With all of this information, I knew I wanted to overcome my own fear of being misunderstood and potentially harmed in order to do what I could to help the horse relay this message to his current owner.
I left a detailed note and my phone number with the owner and let the horse know that his wishes had been communicated. He responded by trying to play with me, grabbing with his mouth at the ends of my clothing to pull me in to the pen with him. He really wanted to connect with someone who saw him for the beautiful and intelligent spirit that he is.

horse-pen

On our way home, I was surprised to receive a phone call from the horse’s owner and could therefore explain our chance encounter in more detail. “You are very in tune!” she said, to my surprise and delight.

She told me that the horse had bonded with her daughter but since she had just had knee surgery, she was not able to get out to see him. This explained why he felt so abandoned and alone. She went on to tell me that the horse had seven previous owners, many of whom had severely beat him and forced him to do very hard work. Most recently, he had been relocated from Oklahoma where someone in their family had passed away.
“Did you notice the broken gate on the pen?” she asked. “Yes,” I replied. “He broke free during a thunderstorm one night about two months ago” she said.
Could you imagine being trapped in a small pen alone in the dark during a violent thunder and lightning storm? Just like you, the horse was afraid as he had no where to hide and was terrified.
“But he lived in Oklahoma” she said. “They have great big storms there.”

She didn’t understand that horses are just like people. We all need shelter and a place to feel safe. Even horses get scared. I offered solutions to help the horse adjust to his new home and family in a more interconnected way by possibly contacting the owner of the adjacent property to see if the horse could socialize with the others. She was very grateful and happy to respond to make the situation better immediately. I was happy that I did not allow my fear to get in the way of trying to alleviate the suffering of another being. It was an honor to communicate empathically with a beautiful life force who could not speak for himself.
Many people do not understand the emotional intelligence of other species, but would be changed forever once they did. Words create division but we can connect universally through the empathic language of the heart. No matter what life form you find yourself engaging with, try practicing deep listening and speaking through the emotional compass of your heart. What you will discover is that the world is a much more interesting place.

This new zoo puts people in captivity and lets the animals run free

140731_EYE_5.jpg.CROP.original-originalDear Friends,
in general I don’t like Zoo. I don’t enjoy seing animals locked in and dislocated from their natural environment, but I do like the motto they have. The wish to create space again for animals to join us in the co-creation of an evolved world for everybody! And it fits perfectly to the energies that have arrived since the Solstice, to call back the animals.
Happy oneness with animals!!

Edith

This safari park is evoling.

It’s called the Givskud Zoo, or Zootopia, and was first opened in 1969 as a lion-only park.  A year later, elephants were brought in and today “the park has more than 700 animals representing more than 70 species.”  Though, it is still technically a zoo, you can currently drive your own car through, much like a safari.

Engineer, Bjarke Ingels has conceptualized the mega-transformation that will turn this park into the safari park of the future where the “humans are confined and the animals run free.”  It emphasizes a giant “crater,” where the journey begins; you can walk around and look out into the different continents.

Then, it gets really interesting.  You can hop in your pod and ride it like a bicycle through the wilderness (though where you can ride will still be semi-restricted).

Just as we are bringing nature back to our cities with vertical gardens, the goal here is to “make it even better for the animals,” according to Ingels.  He continues, “I think, in a way, we owe our humanity to the fact that we started investigating science and animals … It’s not even a choice to leave nature alone – in a way we do need to take responsibility for it, so we also have to make sure we understand it.”

Below is a video shot from inside the car on safari inside Givskud

Sacred Circle for Calling the Animals into the Diamond Vortex by Celia Fenn

AnimalsandearthBeloved people of the world,
In the last 4 years of living with 4 dogs and sharing there life in the wilderness (we walk before daylight and enjoy the freedom, clarity of energy and purity of the New Day), I have managed to larn more about the part in human nature that is “the animal”, than in 15years of studying before. The part, that allows us crulty on an emotional, mental, spiritual and physical level. The part that activates survival – fight – unclarity in relationships and much more. This allowed me to integrate more awareness, unconditional love and kindness in my everyday actions and relationships with all human beings I met.
So you can imagine that I feel excited, happy and inspired by the moment in time, that tells us to call back the animal spirits of the world to manifest the new world with us!! With love to all the Star-Beings out there working for the bigger picture – and all who wish to join the circle!

Love and monster Bear Hugs ;-)!! Edith

If you wish to actively be part of the activation – here a beautiful ritual from the wonderful Celia Fenn! More information to the incoming energies and the chance to call back the animal powers into co-creation, you find here: https://edithboyertelmer.wordpress.com/2015/06/20/the-june-2015-solstice/
Create a Sacred Circle that will be a conduit for Divine Love and Blessings for the Earth. The Circle is oriented to the North. If you are in the Southern Hemisphere you may wish to orient the circle to the South, that is passing from East to North to West to South. See youself standing at the center of the Circle, whether literally or in vision, and face the EAST, the place of the Air and Sky and the Rising Sun and New Beginnings. Breate deeply and call in the Bird Tribes:
index“Oh beautiful Spirits of the AIR, the Bird tribe of Earth, we call you now to Earth. We call the Great Eagles and the Hawks, and the messengers of Spirit, and we call all the winged creatures of the Air. We love you and we cherish you. We appreciate your Being and your gifts to the Earth. We ask you to stay with us and build the New Earth together with us. We express Diamond Gratitude for your presence and your gifts!”

Now face the SOUTH, the place of the WATERS, the place of flow, abundance and blessings. Breathe deeply and call all the beings who inhabit the Oceans and the Lakes and the Rivers of the Earth:
“Oh Spirits of the Waters, the Dolphins and Whales, the Seals and the Fishes and all the beings who swim in the waters, we call to you with love! We love you and we cherish you. We appreciate your Being and your gifts to the Earth. We ask you to stay here with us and manifest the New Earth together with us. We express Diamond Gratitude for your presence and your gifts.”

dAgain, breathe deeply and face the WEST, the place of FIRE and passion and call to all the land animals that walk and run on our Earth with the passion and fire of life in their hearts and bodies.
“Oh Spirirts of the Animal World, The four legged ones whose presence brings us comfort and support, from the wild wolves and wild cats to those with whom we share the fires of our homes and hearths, we call out to you. Also to all the wild animals of the plains and mountains, we offer you our deep respect and love for what you are and that we can share our Earth with you. We love you and we cherish you. We appreciate your Being and your gifts to the Earth. We ask you to stay here with us and manifest the New Earth together with us. We express Diamond Gratitude for your presence and your gifts.”

ddNow, finally, breathe deeply and turn to the NORTH, the place of EARTH and deep Wisdom and Love. Here we call forth the Spirit Animals and the Animals Guides, the White Lions, the White Whales, the White Buffalo, the Unicorns, the Dragons and all the Magical and Wise Beings who guide us.
“Oh wise ones, we call you to come to us and to be with us and work with us once again. Many have forgotten who you are and that you are gifts from the Stars, but we remember you and we honor you. We honor your wisdom and power and your guidance on the wheel of life. We honor the Earth as our home and we honor Spirit and all the Beings of Light, the Angels and those of the Spirit Animal realms who guide us home to the Light. We love you and we cherish you. We appreciate your Being and your gifts to the Earth. We ask you to stay here with us and manifest the New Earth together with us. We express Diamond Gratitude for your presence and your gifts.”

Return your attention now to your own Heart Space, and extend your Diamond Gratitude upwards to the Heart of God and downwards to the Heart of the Earth. Allow yourself and your circle to be a conduit or a channel for the flow of Divine Diamond Light and Blessings from the Heart of God to the Heart of the Earth. Feel yourself joining together with many other Sacred Circles and Sacred Diamond Hearts in a Circle of Loving Blessing and Diamond Gratitude to the Earth and All That Is!
And so it is Done. We Thank You! Breathe deeply and hold the energy for as long as you wish. Then thank all the Spirit Beings who have worked with you and release the Circle.
