Full Moon Poetry – Harmonizing With The Dark Side Of The Moon

a (2)by Edith Boyer-Telmer

Dear Friends,
today is the peek of the Virgo Full Moon, which appears with a Lunar Eclipse and very strong collective awakening energies. How they will effect us and how we can take care of ourselves by showing more authenticity in the expression of our self-love, we have discussed the last two days. Now it is time to enjoy the beauty of the star event, captured in this lovely quotes and poems to the magic of Full Moon nights. More fire to our passion of creating collectively the Golden Age of Aquarius.

“We all shine on…like the moon and the stars and the sun…we all shine on…come on and on and on…”
― John Lennon

“You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.”
― Edgar D. Mitchell

“She didn’t quite know what the relationship was between lunatics and the moon, but it must be a strong one, if they used a word like that to describe the insane.”
― Paulo Coelho, Veronika Decides to Die

“The moon does not fight. It attacks no one. It does not worry. It does not try to crush others. It keeps to its course, but by its very nature, it gently influences. What other body could pull an entire ocean from shore to shore? The moon is faithful to its nature and its power is never diminished.”
― Ming-Dao Deng, Everyday Tao: Living with Balance and Harmonyaaq“We are going to the moon that is not very far. Man has so much farther to go within himself.”
― Anaïs Nin

“Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.”
― Mark Twain

“We are all like the bright moon, we still have our darker side.”
― Kahlil Gibran

“Do not swear by the moon, for she changes constantly, then your love would also change.”
― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

“i want to be
in love with you

the same way
i am in
love with the moon

with the light
shining
out of its soul.”
― Sanober Khan

“There was just one moon. That familiar, yellow, solitary moon. The same moon that silently floated over fields of pampas grass, the moon that rose–a gleaming, round saucer–over the calm surface of lakes, that tranquilly beamed down on the rooftops of fast-asleep houses. The same moon that brought the high tide to shore, that softly shone on the fur of animals and enveloped and protected travelers at night.
― Haruki Murakami, 1Q84images“We both wondered whether these contradictions that one can’t avoid if one begins to think of time and space may not really be proofs that the whole of life is a dream, and the moon and stars bits of nightmare.”
― Arthur Machen, The Terror

“A full moon is poison to some; they shut it out at every crevice, and do not suffer a ray to cross them; it has a chemical or magical effect; it sickens them. But I am never more free and royal than when the subtile celerity of its magic combinations, whatever they are, is at work.”
― Harriet Prescott Spofford, The Amber Gods and Other Stories

“I fancied my luck to be witnessing yet another full moon. True, I’d seen hundreds of full moons in my life, but they were not limitless. When one starts thinking of the full moon as a common sight that will come again to one’s eyes ad-infinitum, the value of life is diminished and life goes by uncherished. ‘This may be my last moon,’ I sighed, feeling a sudden sweep of sorrow; and went back to reading more of The Odyssey.”
― Roman Payne

Dear Ones, I hope you enjoy this wise words about the Full Moon and its magical, lunatic impact on us ;-)! Even that they are from all centuries of time, I feel each of them resonating with this very moment in our collective thrive to leave the past behind and create a world fitting for all beings.
Blessings an Lots of Love ;-)!
